Dave has always been a tremendous DC. As long as he is motivated and healthy enough to take it on...we could do alot worse.
if dave is going to be the new DC, the rider coaching staff is going to be eating alot of early bird specials. between coach miller, alex smith and now dave, these guys are good'n old. but i'm not sure anyone cares how old they are, these guys can flat out coach.

A point of clarification: Kenny Miller will choose the next defensive coordinator. With discussed the various candidates, the scenarios which would unfold based on each potential hiring, and I'm comfortable with whatever decision is made.
