why are there not more postings in alberta teams forums?
seems a little strange to see Lions with more posts than Esk and Stamps combined.

…think I can count the number of stamps fans here on one hand and still make a peace sign…
…why are you doing math anyways?!
For the Stamps. I believe they still have their own forum. CFL Horseman.
Which is their priority.
The much bigger question is why the Argos only have about 7,000 posts and just down the QEW the Cats have over half a million. That’s the population of Hamilton ! Even Ottawa has double the posts of the Argos.
Argofans:)
Easy answer for ya Dan . The Argos don't shoot hoops , wear skates , bang round balls off of their heads or hit things with wooden bats .
There is much truth in your answer Bobo but I feel the biggest reason is perception. The CFL is not seen as world class and so neither are the Argos in the world class city like Toronto.. All those teams you mention play against cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles. That's who the Torontonians like to smoosh with. .The Argos play against the likes of Winnipeg, Regina and Hamilton. Hardly ritzy enough burgs for such esteemed sports fans as Toronto has.
Thumbs up to the Argo fans there are !
I am sure all 10 of their fans are doing their best.
does gostampsgo still exist?
most teamsalso haveprivate forums.
for Lions it is Lionbackers.
Stampeder67 present and accounted for ;D
Both the Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Eskimos have very active forums of their own.

Even Ottawa has double the posts of the Argos. While the Argos have a forum of their own, the Tiger-Cats do not. Neither of the two most active team forums on this board are competing for interest with team specific forums. I don't believe the Ottawa RedBlacks have their own forum either and the RedBlacks team forum therefore has been fairly active on this board since the team was launched.
:-\
The only locale in which Toronto is actually "world class" though is in the delusional fantasies of Toronto hucksters.
My point exactly, Fox.
I understand your point about separate forums but it still doesn’t equal out with the amount of Ti- Cat posts unless the other Argo forum has over half a million posts.
Yes, I get you your point and thank you. Over 150,000 posts is a good thing. I have many friends who are Argo fans but my statement was to reply to FYB's opening post and it is just for the CFL.ca forum I meant my answer. I do know there are other forums...Still, you have to admire a fan base like the Ti-Cats. WOW ! They have dominated here even when they had their own private forum/website.
About 5 years ago, the sub-forums for Montreal, Saskatchewan, BC & Hamilton were also the official forums for the teams. These sub-forums could be directly accessed from the team websites. This accounts for the higher post counts on those sub-forums.
As far as I can tell, Hamilton is the only one of those teams that still has a direct link to the sub-forum on the team website.
Winnipeg has a team run forum that has a direct link from the team website.
I always wondered why CFL teams would take those forums down from their websites. Isn’t fan engagement a good thing?
