The season seems lost. There's so much wrong with this team now, I don't see how we can make a run at the play-offs. We don't seem to show up at all for big games. This season is more frustrating than the 1-17 season, because this year we seemed to have a chance on paper.
We need wholesale changes, not the least of which being changing OC. I wouldn't shed a tear over any player or coach leaving at this point.
Sorry for the negativity, but this is just about the most frustrated I have ever been!

Drummergod makes a good point. He points out exactly the same thing I have been watching all season. It appears that Jason Maas can't cut it as a starter. He overthrows, underthrows, throws behind the receiver and if this isn't bad enough, he throws too many short passes, most of which are missed anyway or don't later develop into a first down.
I was quite happy in the off season when I heard the Cats had landed Maas, but now I recognize him only as a backup QB.
I suppose we could blame coaching for a lot (most) of the Offense's mistakes. It's almost like Paopao has been playing with Maas' head.
Then, of course, there is a suspect offensive line to consider. Weird that they did well against Winnipeg and couldn't get anywhere with the Blue team.
From what I remember of Maas as an Eskimo, he hit his receivers, ran a great offence, and oh ya, won a couple championships. He comes to the hammer and can't do smack. Conclusions?
NFL Canada. You may mock our league but at least we're not delusional in thinking the NFL is ever coming north of the border. Keep watching your team while horizontal on your couch big fella. I'm sure the road trip to home games is fun, or do you ever make it to a game?
