I don’t know how bankruptcy auctions work. Is it like any other auction where if you win a bid for an item you don’t actually want you get stuck with it? Maybe the CFL should put in an offer and drive up the price.

Why on earth would the CFL bid on something they do not want in order to drive up the price? Clearly the CFL has better things to do rather than figuring out ways to be petty.
Yeh, like changing the contract wording at the last minute and hoping to get it by the PA.
