As a BC fan I have hard time seeing how I would want to make excuses for the Bombers. If you want to accuse me of cheering for the Lions for playing a small part in the Bombers loss then you may do so.

Some years east is better. Some years west is better. Some years there is no obvious stronger division.

Exactly. The Argos were playing lights out in the second half of the year. There was all this chatter and bragging from the fans and they just didn’t pay attention to what was going on. I wasn’t surprised at all with the results this year or last because the Argos and Montreal went into the playoffs much the same way the Bombers did in 2019. On a roll defence playing strong and not giving the other team an inch. Not to mention I remember the 2001 GC. When you expect a team to do something and they don’t you can look for excuses but it’s all just sour grapes. Fact is what came before in the regular season means nothing it’s one and done for both sides and anything can happen…even if you play well.
