Relatively big news in the world of snooker with Ronnie O'Sullivan dropping out of a qualifying round match with an elbow injury just weeks before the world championship. As past champion he has an automatic berth in the Championship tournament and is a seven time winner of the event.
Mark Selby among others of note vying for the title.
Ronnie O must easily be the greatest snooker player of all time IMHO. Sure hope this injury is just a temporary thing.
Many would agree about O'Sullivan as the GOAT. I see he holds the world record for the fastest clean break at 5 mins 37 secs. Other guy wouldn't even have had time to finish his drink. Truly amazing when they get on a run of blacks.
No Canadians or women in the tournament.
