Winnipeggers play kick to win, get Grey Cup ring

A 1984 Grey Cup ring presented to former Winnipeg Blue Bomber Dan Huclack was stolen during a violent robbery in the city on Monday. Police did not say whether the victim was Huclack. They did not release a name.

According to police, a 53-year-old man was walking on McDermot Avenue near Sherbrook Street just before noon when he was approached by two men. One of the men, believed to be armed with a weapon, demanded money from the man, police said. When he told the two men that he had none, he was kicked in the lower body, police said. Then he was robbed of the ring as well as a bag containing various medications.

The attackers then fled the area, and police were called. The 53-year-old was treated for minor injuries.

Not sure that I appreciate the title of the thread in light of the situation. Perhaps you should ask yourself why you would joke about a violent act against an inocent human being ?

As for the perps, good luck fencing that ring, morons.

If this the only way Winnipeggers can get a Grey Cup ring, it's probably best to put this sorry franchise out of our misery.
Watching the Suicide Bombers lose year after is like a kick in the groin.

............I guess you haven't been around too long, blue face....I think you best look- up how many Grey Cup titles this club actually has...then compare it to some other power house teams of today...(sask. for ex., will take ions to catch-up to our record, if ever) In any event, this is a storied franchise....NOT a sorry one....Sooooooo once you get your facts straight and can look a little furthur than the end of your nose....I'll put this franchise up against any other one in the CFL and be proud....Maybe you should try to look at it that way...works for me

RIGHT ON, Papa!
