Winnipeg vs Ottawa

Yup - Hank and friends spoiled the tying FG with a late TD but was hit on the play. Seemed to be OK when he went off the field but we’ll see after half time. With the way Maas was going ballistic, it looked like he thought it was a deliberate attempt to injure.
Personally I think that there is too much respect among players for them to deliberately be out to injure their opponents - hit them hard - yes.

there is almost always at least one jerk on every team that would injure on purpose. cant say if that the case this time. he certainly didn't try not to injure

The low hit on shotgun Burris will be a fine. 17-13 Ottawa leads

Could certainly be the case here- just didn’t get a good look at the replay for timing. Sometimes it is hard for the tackler coming at the QB to stop his momentum but there is no excuse for low hits unless the player is knocked into someone.

Balsy call by Campbell.

Man I'll say; I would have taken the FG

Mostly the arm (elbow?) from the side got Burris just above the knee from what I remember from the replay.
Late TD Ottawa - 27-20 REDBLACK final.

Probably the Bombers season right there. Too bad I was hoping they'd make it.

The Bombers just might be the worst 'professional' organization in sports, they have to privatize the team it's the only way to get change.

Yes FYB, that was a dirty garbage hit. When you target the knee. there is only one goal in mind.

No private owner in his tight mind would take on a team worth 30 million dollars with 150 million dollars of debt… The whole reason Asper backed out was because of this

Well it looks like yet another coaching staff and management will be done in Winnipeg after this season?

Since Mike O'Shea came in to the Peg with Kyle Walters it's been two pretty sad years do the fans think a third year will make any difference, No way, and certainly not with the coaches they have.

Another re-build is in sight for the Bombers, maybe this time they can actually hire a head coach and maybe an ex-QB head coach like Milanovich in Toronto, Huff in Calgary, Austin in Hamilton and Tedford in BC.

Good Luck next year Winnipeg, we'll enjoy the Grey Cup this year at Investors Group Field in the Peg!

GO CATS GO!!!

They can have Millanovich. Won't make a bit of difference without a QB and be an upgrade for the Argos.
