First quarter looked like a QB playing his first game. Probably shouldn't have expected anything else. QBs don't just walk into the CFL and have instant success.
Too many men on a kickoff is just bad at this point in the season.

Don’t get me wrong, the call was correct, but it would have been a little more appropriate to make the call at the time not a couple seconds after the fans start booing and not by the official 20 yards away instead of the official 20 feet away.

Max Hall had a much better second half. Got penalty help, but he was making plays and they really controlled the time of posession. Good stuff.
The key test will be if they suck in the third quarter as they always have. If they play competitive there, they'll have a shot to win this one.

Damn, Hall didn't learn on that one that shoulda been picked. Promising drive, penalty aided but driving nonetheless, ends with nothing to show for it.

You go with what is working… the idea is to WIN… not worry about how many run attempts you have, next game, you game plan different if it is warranted.
Wish we had a great D. It’s been solid vs the run, it just hasn’t been good at stopping the pass most of the season.
You have to put points on the board when the D is gifting you yards like that.
