The Saskatchewan Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers alongside the CFL and CFLPA have been continuously monitoring the air quality at Mosaic Stadium throughout the afternoon using in-stadium instruments. With the help of strong south winds, levels have been steadily declining throughout the afternoon and currently sit well below the acceptable level to play football.

Kick off is still scheduled at 5 p.m. See you there!

We’re doing our last round of bruschetta, while we have a TON of tomatoes, the basil has seen better days and is at the end soon. All the heat has started to brown it…no idea how it thrives in the Mediteirrean.
Jalapeno poppers at the half. Some of them are starting to turn red too.

I see this game as much closer to even. A rabid 33,000 fans go a long way for the home team (I suppose about 31,000 if you exclude Bomber fans making the trip from Winnipeg).Here’s hoping this is a great game as many think it will be.

Still a half hour away from kick off. Kate and the CFL panel will be checking in shortly for today’s Labor Day Classic pre-game show.

… relative dominance by the Riders although they have lost the last two years, but last year barely lost to a dominant team while they were in the midst of a downslide. I see this game as much closer to even. Oddsmakers can be fools - or they’re very sly! I think Brother Jake the 7 foot Frankenstein Rider QB may lay a personal lickin’ on an over confident Bomber squad. Bombers for the most part start slow, then wendle their way back into games. Today, if they start slow, they’ll stop faster, especially with bad air blown into the stadium - by Rider fanatics, no doubt!

I scarfed a jar of Newman’s pineapple salsa from my stepmother in BC. Never had it before but will try it tonight.

Love the replay of the Janarion Grant return the panel calls the play of the year. Hope he returns soon. Maybe next week?
