Congratulations, Chris.

And I don't see anyone in the west taking it from him. Fingers crossed.

The Western nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie is Edmonton linebacker JC Sherritt.

From that article:

Edmonton linebacker JC Sherritt is the Western nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie after registering 72 tackles and three sacks in 16 games. Sherritt missed Edmonton’s last two games with an ankle injury.

He will go up against Hamilton speedster Chris Williams. Williams came out of nowhere to lead the Tiger-Cats and finish ninth in the league with 1,064 receiving yards, while also tacking on six touchdowns on 70 receptions.

What Williams did on special teams should also be noted.

The New Mexico State product also showed his talents on special teams, returning 12 kickoffs for 252 yards and a touchdown and 12 punts for 81 yards.

I think Williams has a good chance of being named the CFL’s MOR.

Congrats to Chris. He totally deserved it.

I won't mention how we got ripped off at some other positions.
