Many French from Quebec notice it. They talk very little about the als.
They dont, I think its merely coincedence but its the biggest game in town there in the summer so you'd think there would be lots of stories for TSN to re-work from the local sports media...and if you see Flory give him the bird for me....whats the average attendance at the stadium?

Well, by definition, Quebec francophones have to complain about everything that is a perceived insult to their province whether it is an actual insult or not. So they are just doing their job by noticing the lack of coverage for the Als, of course.
Well, I am a francophone and I don’t consider it an insult to the province. Besides, our own media provides very little coverage on the Als so why would I expect a national station to do better? Sometimes, you would think that the Habs played year round with the amount of coverage that they get here.
They have their own bloody station....RDS!
SO!
They don't get enough Als coverage from that?

Hockey, nothing agains't hockey, it's a good sport, but why does everything have to take a back seat to it in this country? Ok, Canadian NHL teams are the toast of the town I suppose and have the most fans but it does get annoying that other sports teams get little coverage compared with hockey. It's a shame really but not much we can do about it, numbers do talk I suppose.
My sentiments exactly Earl.
Before juging the Alouettes fans and the french… why don’t you juge by yourself?... It’s been years…. It’s only now that some one finally speaks! CFL should be a family don’t you think so?
This as nothing to do with my question about TSN. Why they seems to avoid talking about the Alouettes?.. Why?.. Why?.. I will love to be wrong… but when I watch TSN…. It’s seems there is only seven teams in the league…
I dont see what you are talking about…I dont see the Als getting any less coveragage than anyone else!
What exactly is your point?
Do you watch RDS?
...the Regional Dairy Show?...maybe, Artie is from Saskatchewan you know....(sorry, couldn't resist)...
Hockey, hockey and more hockey 24/7...........
Enough already.
RDS only present alouettes games unfortunately! Alouettes fans are not only French speaking so they go to TSN. There are als fans all across Canada and in the States specially in Baltimore that likes to hear about the alouettes too! The next time you watch TSN see by yourself. [/b]
I'm kidding. I kid because I love. I even pay extra for RDS on the off-chance the Als game in SK is covered by TSN and blacked out. Tonight as penance I'll eat a croissant, and recite the Canadiens captains list 20 times.
I've never paid any attention to the amount of Als coverage, so I can't say if they get more, the same or less than anyone else.

Substituting the word 'Als' with 'sports', I'll say Artie you might be the smartest poster this forum has ever seen, and I'm being quite serious in all honesty!
RDS covers CIS ball in quebec at least.. tonnes of laval rouge et or games on tv?
RDS only shows Als games
TSN sometime shows als games (CBC does the rest)
So, this is normal. anyways, TSN is so hung up on Toronto...
All the Als games are televised on Either TSN or CBC
