Who would like to see returning kicks for the cats next year

Who would you like to see returning kicks for the cats this year ? Keep in mind Addison and Banks will be starting receivers
so that might limit their kick returning but you never know as Banks was so successul under Reinbold previously. Or would June Jones, Orlondo or Brandon discourage it with concerns of injury or fatigue. Here are mine in order of preference.

TOR FA Brandon Burks
BC FA Chris Rainey
Chris Wiliiams
Freddie Wiliams
Terrell Sinkfield
Brandon Banks
Bralon Addison

Frankie Williams is our guy and he also plays DB. No need to sign a “shiny, new object”.

Pat Lynch (the old guy)

I hope we can sign Sinkfield again, and maximize his potential. I still believe he can has some spark to offer.

Apparently he was brought in as a bench specialist for the playoffs. First change Orlondo needs to make is to start Sinkfield!

Chris Rainey led the League in KR with 25.7 yrd avg and 1438 yrds in 14 games

He was also 4th in PR yrds with 674 yrds and 10.5 yrd avg in 14 games

Reinebold was the STC

DISCLAIMER: He was healthy scratched for those 4 games he missed by Buono

Rainey is a huge talent, both on Offence and ST’s, but, He would also have a hefty price tag. :frowning:

I’d actually like to see Pinball in his prime doing it. ;D

He is awesome.

Gizmo W. was a solid returner as well.

Yup. Lived in Edmonton when Gizmo was doing his thing. Only after I left did I really think things through and decide that he was #2 - second only to Pinball. Loved watching them both.

In his prime?

Earl “The Pearl” Winfield (Praise Be His Name).

Oh I was waiting for you to come back with that. ;D

And for the sentimentality… perhaps the best choice at all. Look at '88.

And for some reason CFLapedia does NOT have Gizmo’s numbers!

Sorry about the spacing. That would be 26 career punt return touchdowns. 26!

Incredible career. Gizmo or Pinball was always a major debate then.

My vote is Sinkfield. He can play 3 different postions(kick returner, receiver and DB)

Gizmos last career TD was in 1998 in HAM, a reception in the west endzone. Garbage time in a blow out by us.
Right in front of me, clearly remember it.

It’s all pie in the sky until we can sort out our blocking schemes. Last year they were abysmal. I do expect a marked improvement under coach Reinbold (welcome back!).

I believe that Williams has the speed and moves to work with improved up field blocking.

Frankie Williams, also back up db. Best bang for the buck!

Frankie’s good but Freddie is better .

i dunno, one wants to break free… the other just wants you to relax

Ha! Nice 80s reference.
