They're both available, unless the rumours of Chapdelaine returning to BC turn out to be true.

How about Chris Jones from Montreal for DC. I hear he is availabe. Chapdelaine gets my vote for OC.
If Jones doesn't get the head coach job in Montreal, he may very well look elsewhere; you could do worse.
Why is everyone so high on Chapdelaine?
Because he turned around a losing team last year and took Edmonton to the playoffs?
Because we were better and beat Edmonton at the end of the year?
Because we outgained Edmonton by a mile when we lost out there?
Because he is such a nice guy that he got his walking papers in one year in Titletown?
I know that a guy's career shouldn't be wiped out by one year - but a lot of people on here are/were ready to do that to Taaffe and his staff. In a what have you done for me lately business . . . . what has Jaques done lately? Yeah he won the Grey Cup in '06 with the best players - as a co-coordinator. But what did he do last year on his own?
Is he the guy, because he is the only guy available?
Well when you have no running back and the Best QB in the league is out for a few games...your probably going to run into some problem.
Jones is the new DC in Calgary.
Chapdelaine was around some talent in BC and Ed but did'nt contribute much.
I know Jones has been looking around, but I haven't found a link confirming he's been signed anywhere.

Too bad. If Obie didn't take a week to decide on Taaffe, we might have had a shot at Jones.

Just a guess, but I think Obie and Taaffe must have come to an agreement on who the team needs at OC and DC. That might have been part of why it took so long to decide on Charlie. If so, they have probably already been approached and have some kind of agreement with Obie. Don't know if that rules out any of the coaches mentioned above or not. Hopefully we will know by next week.

A bunch of us were sitting in a restaurant discussing the possibilities LAST NIGHT as the decision was made on Taaffe. (Little did we know that decision had been made) We wondered aloud if perhaps Charlie would be retained, then they are discussing his co-ordinators and that was taking some time!
I wouldn't be surprised that we are a short time away from an announcement on the OC and DC!
You can just bet that Montreal will make a decision soon too. Everybody will be scrambling to get the best people!
