The one being put up on the Wall of Honour in a couple years.
I don’t understand how you guys are trying to frame that Bomben trade.
Yes, the Argos are bad. But it’s not like the trade helped us in any way. Gloating over giving up an asset for nothing seems real dumb.
They are gloating, for over a year now, that the Bomben trade didn’t hurt us at all. Which in hindsight is true but shut up about it already.
Instead people should praise our coaches, GMs and scouts for finding the talent that can replace and even improve upon quality players that have departed.
If someone started a Bomben Gloating thread, would all of the recurring Bomben jokes have to go there?
But,but, but, What about Charleston Hughes for Vernon Adams jr. :o
At least we got Kalinic for Bomben
and Bomben freed up Van Zeyl for us to grab
First to go is ..... Franklin. Not completely gone, but likely gone to the 6-Game Injured List:
Wow. The way QBs are dropping right and left, I hope Prukop is getting some reps.
Ouch!
That trade was orchestrated by the same guy who traded Ray for Jyles.
Good riddance.
Luckily we now have the guy on our sidelines who traded Jyles for Ray.
Wilder? Really?
Yes , really . Wilder = One of the MOST Overrated players in the league . Like I said earlier perhaps Wilder can do himself a favour and join the WWE where he would be a perfect fit in the make believe world of rasslin’ since he’s already such a poser as a so called Superstar in the CFL .
Well who specifically is propping him up to this superstar status? Argo fans and media are practically non-existant. I don’t think Wilder gets anywhere near the over-inflated exposure that somebody like Duron Carter gets.
He had a few spectacular breakaway runs in his rookie year that inflated his stats. Parlayed that into a trophy, an off-season hissy-fit, a construction job in Texas, a WWE try-out, and the eternal respect of the TSN broadcast crew.
Has not yet recaptured his early glory, but if his O-line ever opens up a giant hole for him again, presumably he will still be capable of running though it.
16 days after of course posed the question and made the first prediction, we have our answer, from Frank Zicarelli in the Toronto Sun:
ARGOS GIVE BROWN THE BOOT
The first shoe has dropped with the Argos, who are desperately searching for a win, with the release of American kicker Drew Brown.
There you go!
Wow!!!
Tyrell Sutton
Today Popp dropped a Poop!
Argos really do s**k this year; and last.
They are completely unprepared for todays game; offence is having trouble lining up, never mind executing the play.
Argos are absolutely brutal. Wpg is just mauling them.
Nichols looking like a very elite QB. Looking awesome!
