Who has the edge in the Eastern Final?

After a thrilling comeback effort by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the third quarter of Saturday’s Eastern Semi-Final, the Montreal Alouettes found a way to shut the door.

It comes down to Bo. Does he have one more game left in his tank or two games left in his tank.

I would give Hamilton the edge. They’re playing at home, they’ve got a guy under centre who is no stranger to playoff pressure, and a receiving corps that will be very difficult for Montreal to contain.

I just can’t see Hamilton….or any other CFL team beating Montreal UNLESS Davis gets injured. I don’t think the East Final will be close. Hamilton will do well to stay within 15 pts.

Gawd no.

I’m predicting a high octane Eastern Final battle with enough lead changes to send pregnant women into labour. This will be nothing short of a fingernail shredding screamfest for the ages.

Let the buritto fueled stomach churn begin! May there be skid marks on every seat in Tim Horton’s field after the final gun sounds!!

Get ready to bury your shorts all you lucky CFL fans!!! :beaver:

Wow . Just 4 posts in and we already have two predictions of a 20 point and a 15 point blowout win by the Alouettes . It sounds like we might as well not even bother to play the game and just send Montreal on to the Cup by default . I’m honestly not sure which one of these two will advance but I am fairly certain that no matter who it is it won’t be a blow out victory either way . As a Cats fan I of course am hoping for a Hamilton victory but honestly wouldn’t be surprised in the least if Montreal come out on top in this game .

It sounds like you expect to find a rock in your Halloween sack Bobo. When did that confident poop flinging primate we all know so well become such a limp banana?

Where has the swagger in your knuckle drag gone?

I know a certain lady who’s going to be so disappointed…

He KNOWS that Davis Alexander is a BEAST like Chad Kelly has been and there is no losing in their characters and repertoire. MONTREAL by 20 or more.

Bo has had his time - he is now an INTERCEPT thrower.

I prefer to think of him as ‘completion challenged’.

Mind you, every time I say that Bo’s washed up he puts up another 400 yard passing-palooza masterpiece and I wind up eating my words.

He hardly threw any INT’s all season, so it seems like you’re trying to gaslight his stats. He threw 36 TD’s and only 11 INT’s. That’s an incredibly good ratio.

It seems like you just hate him and are trying to spread misinformation about him. Classy…

Everyone thinks Davis Alexander the Great is a beast-slayer because he ran up Winnipeg’s dilapidated defense in the first half last weekend.

Not so fast. Winnipeg was easily the worst of the six teams that qualified for the 2025 CFL layoffs. A diminished and oft-injured QB, no star Canadian slot, a porous o-line that rarely moves people against their will, a sackless, under-powered D-line, yada yada.

If the Bombers were the worst of the six, then Hamilton might be the 2nd worst, despite a season for the ages courtesy Bo-Levi Mitchell. That said, Bo comprised most of his amazing stats during the first 2/3 of the season - fading a bit down the stretch.

Will be surprised if the Ticats slither by the Als, even on home turf, ie. NOT THE DONUT STADIUM.

However, if Vintage Bo arrives, ALL BETS ARE OFF. Ticats could eke out a last minute W.

But the betting line says a Montreal vs. BC Grey Cup as Zach Collaros, Wadzilla, Mike O’SHea, Nic Demski and Willy Jefferson all get to dress up as Grey Cup ambassadors!

Now you’re just trolling and also putting words in my mouth . Show me exactly where I said anything about knowing that Manson Lamps Kelly or Surfer dude Alexander were ‘Beasts” ? Also your take on Bo is laughable to say the least . Name one other QB in recent memory that has had a b2b 2 season total of 68 tds thrown for close to 11,000 yds with only 11 ints on this past season ? Also show me another QB in recent memory that has suited up and not missed any games in the last two seasons ? You’re hatred of Bo and the Ti-Cats is rather obvious to say the least .

Seriously you should just stop with your BS because frankly you’re just embarrassing yourself .

I wonder if Bo sent a condolence card to the Stamps for missing the playoffs last year and losing the West semi yet?

Manson Lamps Kelly?? What does that even try to mean? He is a GC Champion !!

And Yes I dislike Mitchell immensely - overrated turnover machine

Yes I hate him but who doesn’t ???

No BO doesn’t congratulate others - he only Loves Himself.
