Which two teams will meet in the Grey Cup???

I think if the lions get past Sask they will beat Calgary and it will be Toronto and bc, If sask beats BC then Sask vs Toronto.

Here is the next best question who is the dark Horse team that will get to the grey cup

BC LIONS

MONTREAL

HAMILTON

i am saying bc lions

If we are calling Hamilton a dark horse team I guess it is them. Not sure what qualifies as a dark horse.

black, chestnut, red roan…

The team that is unlikely to get there

I still say BC

Guess I should have said, I don’t consider Hamilton a dark horse. I think they probably have the best shot out of all of the 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

Give it time.

Go have a look see guys at Area 51's Season Preview comments posted back on June 27/13. Some very interesting observations I thought. With a couple of them he was right on the money. His predictions about where the Lions would finish and how the Bombers would fair were very good. He nailed it with Edmonton as well. Well done Area 51.

It’s even harder than that sounds. An Eastern team has NEVER got to the Grey Cup without playing at least one home playoff game. When Montreal got there from third place in 1970, there were multiple-game playoff series, with each team getting a home game.

Well the odds don’t change but the probability is that it will happen sooner or later. I don’t see it being this year but there is always a chance. Sometimes teams get to the dance who don’t belong, eg. 1997 Riders. Some teams are just late bloomers, eg. 2007 Riders.

My heart says Hamilton-Calgary, but my head says 101 is a rematch of 100. The only difference is, Calgary will crush the Ar-blows this time around.

Interesting results, with 40 votes in here is how each team stands:

EASTERN CHAMPS

TORONTO......22 out of 40 votes
HAMILTON.....15 out of 40 votes
MONTREAL......3 out of 40 votes

WEST CHAMPS

CALGARY......25 out of 40 votes
SASK............13 out of 40 votes
B.C................2 out of 40 votes

So far the consensus is looking like a rematch of 2012 Cup.....Toronto vs Calgary
Doesn't seem like many like either the Al's or Lion's chances this year,so far, with the Riders and Cats smack dab in the middle so far.
Lot's of time left, keep the votes and opinions coming in,so far it's been very, very interesting.....I guess we will all know the answer to the question in 2 weeks time from now. Then comes the next poll....who will win this years Grey Cup and walk off the Champions of 2013???? :cowboy: :rockin:

Bobo:

How do you come up with Calgary getting 25 of the 40 votes?
And why is the "consensus" that it will be a Calgary/Toronto rematch when 30% of the voters are anticipating a Calgary/Hamilton Grey Cup?

One interesting note is that, if Toronto gets in from the East then Saskatchewan gets the nod from the West but if Hamilton gets in from the East then Calgary gets in from the West.

I’m guessing that he miscounted the BC votes, and then just subtracted.
BC should equal 4 and Calgary should equal 23.

Of the three choices of teams for each division, the Stamps have 25 of a possible 40 votes to win the West, and the Argos have 22 of a possible 40 votes,so I guess I could rephrase it to both teams have the popular vote, but you are right the consensus should be a Calgary/Hamilton Grey Cup,but the clear choice by way of most votes per team, per option is that Calgary are the favs in the West and Toronto the favs in the East, although voting say’s not the most popular to meet one another in the Cup.Hopefully that kind of explains what I meant there beagle,as long as the Cats finally make it to the Cup,I could really care less which one of the three Western teams they will face.I picked the longshot Lions, but if it’s the Stamps or Riders and the Cats, makes no difference to me,I’ll just be happy that they’re back in the final again.

They do? Is this how they do arithmetic in steel town??

True bobo, and yet isn't it interesting that of the 40 that voted, a Hamilton/Calgary showdown was predicted. The majority believe Toronto and Calgary will be in the Grey Cup and yet a Hamilton/Calgary Grey Cup has garnered the most votes. I've got to figure that one out. lol

"I picked the longshot Lions"…by bobo

As did I bobo. For obvious reasons. We are the only two who voted for a Lions/Ti-Cats Grey Cup. Wouldn't it be a hoot if we were right?

Well we will find out, soon enough come Sunday Night  GO CATS!!!GO LIONS!!! JUNGLE CUP 2013!!!

Only 42 votes so far, but already some interesting trends;

Ham/Calgary the most popular match up at 31%

but its the next stat that catches my eye,

Toronto 55%
Hamilton 38%
Montreal 7%
Calgary 60%
Saskatchewan 30%
BC 10%

I expected Calgary and Saskatchewan to be much closer than that and shocked that BC has almost been written off.

Interesting results so far, seems like looking at the voting there is only 3 matchups that most think will occur

1....Ham/Calg.....13
2....Tor/Sask.....11
3....Tor/Calg.....10

4....Ham/B.C.....3
5....Ham/Sask....2
6....Mtl/Calg.....2
7....Mtl/Sask.....1

2nd(Ham)vs2nd(Sask)only 2 votes
No predictions or votes for a 3rd(Mtl)vs 3rd(B.C.)Which has only happened once in CFL history(1970-Mtl/Calg)
No predictions or votes for a 1rst(Tor)vs 3rd(B.C)
1rst(Tor)vs 1rst(Calg) sitting at 3rd most popular
Both 3rd place finishers only 3 votes a piece
East Representative by votes....Tor-21/Ham-18/Mtl-3
West Representative by votes...Cal-25/Sask-14/B.C.-3

Hamilton 8)
& B.C.
