It goes by standings. In the case of a tie in record I think the first tie breaker is head to head. Hamilton and Toronto both finished 9-9 but Hamilton won the season series so they go the home playoff game and the later draft position.
So I’m still struggling with the draft order a bit. Everyone seems to be in order of regular season standings… Cept Calgary and sask are switched. Did the stamps get a higher pick since they lost the west final? Or do the grey cup contenders always go seventh and eight. Calgary has lots of pics this year even with having to give one up to get forzanni. Winnipeg only has four it looks like. Toronto has the most. But we know not all pics play pro ball. Just not enough open spots a year.
Saskatchewan picks ahead of Calgary because of the fact that they went to the Grey Cup, the 2 finalists of the Championship game will always get the last 2 picks in the draft, for exp in the NFL the Green Bay Packers (Super Bowl winners) get the last pick in the draft while the Steelers (Super Bowl losers) get the 2nd last pick in the draft.
