So I assume Challenger won't be flying to Vancouver tomorrow because he took a Janet flight from Vegas?

We will be taking off later this morning for Vancouver to watch the game.
Here is a little info on Janet

Since you're going on a Janet flight does that mean you weren't at the game?

We are getting ready right now to board a company plane to come up to the game.

Whenever I travelled on the “corporate” aircraft it was usually the back of a Hercules, although I did bring my golf clubs on a couple of those trips. 8)

Awesome… Just make sure you show up a little late… If you get there just in time for Oh Canada, then you will be earlier than 80 percent of the other fans… It’s just the way Vancouver rolls… If you haven’t got tickets yet… Buy them off the scalpers. The scalpers buy seasons tickets and then sell to you for a ten percent profit. This is still a 20 percent savings from buying from the box office…
You don’t want to sit anywhere near the endzone
The sideline tickets are pricey, but atleast you got greenbacks,so its an automatic 30 percent discount. Don’t exchange US dollars. Save your US dollars for when you go home and just use your visa… You pay 2%,but you get the exact exchange rate. The money changers get you for way more than that.
Obviously if you do use cash(for the scalpers) pull out all of your money in one transaction… They nail you like 5 bucks at the ATM. If you got left over Canadian cash, just save it for your next trip
Those aren't complaints.. Lol.. They are tips on how to save money in the most unaffordable North American city. Until oil crashed,it was the most expensive North American city. Even with a 77 cent dollar, Vancouver is much more expensive than Vegas. Unless this dude is eating his breakfast at Bons on Broadway and drinking down at the Ivanhoe, he can still expect to spend close to 1000 US dollars on his little CFL sojourn
One short note, under no circumstances would we not be at the stadium to show our respect to Canada, The Maple Leaf Flag, O Canada and our Canadian Friends and Neighbors. We will be there for "O Canada".
"The True North Strong and Free!
That isn't sad FYB. The US level of patriotism borders on fanatisim. They have Presidents heads carved in the side of a fricken mountain for god sake. People question US policy ,and people tell you to move to China.. That level of patriotism is part of the reason that the US continues to rapidly drop on the best country to live list.
Bungle is mistaking media sensationalism for patriotism. Canadians are patriotic, we just don’t need to scream CANADA! CANADA! CANADA! every time we see a maple leaf or shed a tear any time O Canada is played.
Anyways.. I'd be fascinated to find out what Challengers experience was. I dated a girl years ago from Arkansas and her dad was a Razorback season ticket holder. She was getting her Masters degree in Journism and actually wrote an article published in her hometown of Hotsprings(home of Bill Clinton) on how she had lived in canada for a year ,and had never been home sick until she went with me to the Lions game
Respect is earned thru the years and Canada and the Canadian people earned my respect years ago and one individual will not change my feelings.
Just a short note to close this Thread, we had a great time, short trip but very enjoyable-stadium, game and people. We stayed at the Fairmont Airport and watched the game from an area called Pacific Rim Suites. By agreement, we do not comment on the game or the name of our Host.
We want to Thank all the fans, from both Teams, that we met, their friendly attitude was appreciated.
Right now we are at a small bar near Nellis AFB watching the Edmonton/Saskatchewan game and Utah/USC.
TROJANS-FIGHT ON!
