Where is the Caretaker.

Either that or we've all become booze hounds to alter our perspectives.

At least I could blame the booze for my massive headache last Sunday morning.

And you know what NSkid, he might be wrong again...

But he hasn't given up and you know what they say about people who keep getting back up. This ain't Glieberman or Schwartz, this guy ain't running away. That's a good thing.

 He might have to mo the lawn and trim the hedges first.

Agree 100%. The only way football dies in Hamilton is if Bob packs it in. Not much in his resume to suggest he’s a quiter…

LMAO this is wut we need sum humour int this embarrassing season at the game every1 was juz makin fun of the team it was funny lol, but yea as for bob hes sorta online right now lol

He was doing that yesterday thats why they waited till today to make him OC. I heard somone also saw him changing light bulbs on the Tigervision and downloading music for the Argo game.

Now I’d like to rescind the above remark.

Tomorrow he’ll probably have to scout a few college practices, then do about fifty more interviews to stir up interest for the labour day game.

We had better stop now I hear he’s working as a moderator tonight and he might not find this funny :rockin:

He posted something a week or two ago...Im looking for the thread.

Here it is:

Oh ok. Here's the problem and the plan.

We gambled in 2004 on a rookie head coach and rookie GM and rookie President and rookie owner. That was probably three too many rookies. Yet by the end of that season it looked like we’d made a great call. Coach Of The Year and all that.

It turned out we were not as clever as we thought we were. I could go into the specifics of the decisions that did not work, but they’ve been debated endlessly here over the last couple of seasons. To be clear many people and players get credit for the Tiger-Cats record last year and so far this year. We’ve begun to make the changes necessary to get back to the top of the CFL standings.

Unfortunately today we are left with an Interim Head Coach and an Interim General Manager. They are doing their very best to win this year, and I have confidence that they will. It is just that we’ve dug ourselves a hole. Even if we win most of the rest of our games it may not be enough.

The good news is that we have a great head start on fixing the failed gamble we made back in 2004. We have remarkably talented GMs and Coaches calling us.

All thanks to you. By “you” I mean the 29,000 paying Ticat fans who showed up on Saturday to cheer on a 2 and 6 Tiger-Cat team. Talented GMs and Head Coaches notice that kind of support and are impressed.

So thanks for your support. And yes we will improve dramatically going forward. In the meantime continue to come out and have fun at Ivor Wynne with us. It is much more fun when we win, but it is always a -lot- of fun.

Cheers, Bob.

It would be helpful if the above could be made into a sticky - to give the natives something to stew on.

I still think we have the best owner in the league and we're fortunate to have him. I'll bet many people would agree with me.
The problem here, is that we have a vocal minority....so of like leftwingfans....sort of speak. We need the caretaker to hang in with us, and we with him while we get this mess straightened out. :cowboy:

Things are being done.

Pao Pao and coack K have been let go.

Belli has been traded.

Major announcement to day at 11:30 rumoured to be new GM.

What else do you need to know. What do you want Bob to say and do?

“Yeah, this team is underachieving and we need to make changes”

What else can he say? What else can he do?

Talking about what to say, gotta love all the player quotes "We're just not playing well enough to win" - or to that effect. What else can they say really without going into details that would get them in big doo doo.
