Where is Senior ah me?

Senior, you are aware that there was a lockout in the NHL, so no games have actually been played so far… You take up coaching pee wee hockey?

Yeah, and a banana is a strange thing to give a dude…

Johnny said earlier in this thread that Senior could not blame Trestman’s (and Popp’s) NFL job hunt on Calvillo…

Well Johnny was wrong! Senior has found a way to blame Calvillo for this mess

That’s our Senior!!!

OOOHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The Senior is back!
The poet of doom,
The Bandito of NDG,
The predictor of downfall,
The old time in your face college tight end,
The worshipper of McPherson,
The conspiracy theorist extraordinaire,
The King of Kensington of the Alouettes forum, swaggering down the street eating a sandwich, all Al Waxman like, who still lives with his mudda and cracks sassy jokes…

THE SENIOR AH ME

So Niagara was right…you wanted Senior back so you could call him names again.

It's somewhat less than funny:

As I peruse the sports news world and observe the unanimous "gush"-on for Colin Kaepernick

http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=330112025 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1485 ... rs-defense

etc etc etc
And his magnificent game against the Packers.

I can't help but heave a despondant "sigh"
But for a little imagination, courage and awareness
The Montreal Alouettes would be hanging ten
On the crest of the wave that is sweeping the Football World
It's depressing.

In one of only 2 significant starts in his career
(That is...starts NOT at in pre-season...or at the end of the year...in JUNK time)
Adrian McPherson came off the 9-game injury reserve
The week following Chris Leak's elf-destruction
And in a crucial game that could have seen a 3-way tie at the top of the CFL East.

McPherson threw for 238 yards and a Touchdown
McPherson ran for 121 yards

Just in comparison:
Kaepernick threw for 263
Rushed for 181!
After a "full" season and with the full support of his team

The point is...simply
While the entire city of Montreal has been lulled into a false sense of security
The fact is...this Alouettes team has been stuck in time
While the rest of the football world has been evolving.
And in the CFL
They've been plotting, evolving, merging and adapting...
TO US!!

The result has been two mediocre seasons
Culminizing in disapointing playoff losses

The irony is that we've been sitting on a goldmine all this time
And how few have had the clarity of vision to see it?
So I will drudge along
Up to the very second when it's announced AD has left the Alouettes for good.
Certain that I'm right
And watching the rest of the Football Multiverse coalesce
Around the new reality.

Peace

Brutus works with Walsh’s WCO. As I’ve always said its not the right offense for Adrian. If the next coach is a Zone read guy then Adrian will shine and it would be an attractive setting to bring in Tebow (Who is considering the CFL). At this point I would love to see it but Cassius will most likely try and milk another season out of AC to enhance his chances at an NFL job, which means he will hire a coach tailored to AC’s strenghts.

At this point nothing would make me more happy for the team to hire a Zone Read coach and ask AC to become a QB coach, lock up Adrian and start a new era but I don’t trust Popp one bit to do what is best for this team.

While making references to the above here is what has been left out in your post(s) on this topic:

2011 AC and the Als put up over 40+ pts in the ESF game against the TiCats. D allows 50+… D was decimated with injuries that season.

2012 AC and the O come within a potential tying TD (pass that bounces off Bratton’s shoulder pads in the End zone) that could have put them into OT with the Argos in the ESF.
O did not have the starting line up from game # 6 including Whitaker easily a key component in the Als O.

Could be CFL time for Tebow? He is likely to be released by the Jets but, might have an opportunity in Jacksonville." I can’t Imagine a scenario in which he’ll be in Jacksonville" says owner of Jags. Eric Crouch- " there is no shame in going to the CFL- and hey, he might have so much fun there actually playing, he might never want to come back( to the NFL)" according to Eric Crouch former Heisman winner now with Fox.( Toronto Star Sports Jan.16).

There have been many NCAA QBs who lit their respective divisions on fire, yet never cut the mustard in the NFL. Lest we forget, the NCAA, while highly entertaining, is amateur football - these are just kids, teens and young men in their early 20's.

Somehow, I think the CFL would be a good fit for Tebow. I like his style, his attitude. Is he perfect? Definitely not! Then again, how many QBs were from day one? This is arguably the most complex position to play in a team sport, and it takes years to hone all of the skills necessary to become a successful QB in any league.

So, who knows? Maybe we'll see AC mentoring TT on the sideline! I for one would definitely like to see that!

So Niagara was right…you wanted Senior back so you could call him names again.

Chillax dude! Johnny is just joking around with the Senior :rockin:

After a prolific period, in which Senior posted several weird 27 000 word rants daily, the failed tight end has been invisible for 3-4 weeks. Where is the little rascal of NDG? Did Senior get banned? Did he lose Internet privileges at Douglas Hospital?

Oh Senior…

SENIOR has been found!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah!!!! During Johnny's latest forced sabbatical, some would call it a ban from the CFL forums, Johnny has been working undercover to find everyone's favorite luney dude. And Johnny has found the Senior ah me!!!!!!!!!

Little Senior now has a twitter account! The funny thing is, he still blames Calvillo! Yes, in 2014 with all of the mistakes by the owner, Popp, and Higgins (not to mention Hawkins  ), Senior still blames Calvillo! Senior still thinks Adrian McPherson is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

You gotta give it to Senior; he ain't right, but he is very consistent with his loopey opinions. Come on Senior, come on back to this forum! Check out Senior's twitter:

Heureux de vous voir de retour, Johnny, mais sincèrement, puisque Senior n'est plus revenu écrire ses commentaires ici, il me semble qu'on peut le laisser tranquille.
