Seems to me she’s there mainly to make sure that Hamiltonians never forget, even during the local news, that their once local TV station has become a 24-hour celeb gossip channel. What did we do to deserve that?
I was curious about this about a month ago, and noticed that she's no longer mentioned on the web site. I Googled her and found a lot of people asking the same question, and one person who seemed like they know who stated that she had resigned, I believe at the end of May. That was all the info there was.
