Where do all 9 teams stand ahead of free agency?

Here we are again, football fans.

Free agency day is fast approaching, and already there has been plenty of news with the communication window opening last Sunday.

I can not believe that Dickens hasn’t got Sean McEwen re-signed. He has been solid as the Stamp’s O Line center. Would also like Awe to be re-signed since we no longer have Judge. But for the most part the changes Dickenson has made looks promising. I guess we will see soon enough
. But the increase in the CAP should give Dickenson some incentive to attack FA more than in the past.

You sound like Dickenson is the answer to a Stamps success. The answer for the Stamps is to fire him.

Really ? Well O’Shea and Walters have gone to the GC 5 times and the last 3 got their pants pulled down in public. (so to speak )

Now all the top talent they once had are abandoning the sinking ship. Prediction : Bombers will be cellar dwellers for 2025

Both Bombers and Stamps have problems as of now. At QB the Collaros/Streveler combo for the Bombers is a problem. Collaros is no longer top tier. Behind him is Streveler with a limited skill set. Stamps have problems on defence. Rose Judge and Vaughters gone. First they got rid of the coaches and later the players. Dickenson is in over his head as GM

Yes I didn’t like losing Cameron Judge to only get back Orimolade who we lost 2 years ago in FA because Dickenson wouldn’t negotiate a wage with him

But Rose and Vaughters performance last year was horrible. Vaughters since returning from the NFL never did measure up. I’m glad they are gone

As for losing coaches, yes over the last few years there has been an exodus that has crippled the Stamps. I believe though all of them got promotions

after they left. Can’t stop or blame them for wanting to improve their lives.

But as I said it is the Bombers time for change even if they really don’t want that.

Whatever happened to jack coan superstar . He had a very short cfl career :confounded::face_with_hand_over_mouth: .

The Argos have been so badly fleeced its hard to believe that management let this happen even with the salary cap and tight budget. I believe something bad is going on in the organization and it has been forced by new ownership. Slash and burn budget. Not only have they lost outstanding all-stars on defence but many of their secondary players have been grabbed too. What’s going on here? Anybody out there know? Edmonton has done a great job poaching all-stars. They have built up their lineup and should bounce back this year.

Tough 2 weeks for Argo fans. First the good news - Coxie, Grant and McManis extended. Time to buy Grey Cup tickets in Winnipeg? Then the bad news - Ceresna, Smith and Brinkman gone. With Holley gone to the NFL and Orimalade to the Stamps, the best defensive line in the CFL is gone. Then the worse news - Metchie, Adeleke, Priester and Amos are gone too. Argos won the Grey Cup on defence. In 2025 they might give up 40-50 points a game. Winton can’t do it by himself. Forget the Grey Cup tickets and hope to make the playoffs.
One other thought - with the money they saved on defence they could go after Gino Lewis and hope to win their games 50-49.

This just tells me what I already knew, that tsn has done their best to spoil actual free agency day for the fans.

Who ever claimed that Coan was a superstar?

Anyway he was third string in Regina last season, and supposedly starts out that way in 2025, behind Harris and Maier.

So just wondering but are you going to be ok with the Bombers only having a 5 or 6 win season this year ?

It’s rumoured that Tommy Stevens will move to the Riders: https://3downnation.com/2025/02/04/saskatchewan-roughriders-agree-to-terms-with-qb-tommy-stevens/

If so, then the three roster spots are likely Harris starting, Maier backing-up, Stevens short-yardage. Coan may end up on the practice squad.

But, but Coan is the next Doug Flutie. That’s cruel.

Coan has real potential in the CFL if he gets with a developmental coach like a Dinwiddie. He can be a classic CFL dual threat pivot. Whether or not he gets with with right coach is up to the CFL Gods.

How So? I haven’t seen anything from TSN !

Sorry Bub, lil jack coan already kicked to the curbside by the riders, harris, maier, stevens will be that team’s 1-2-3 quarterbacks on the field of play 2025.

qb coan kicked to the curbside already by skrrs.

riderville fanbase in their misguided haste annointed coan the next cfl qb superstar.

And now suddenly rider fans are saying that about Jake Maier. Yet 4 months ago he was a useless bum
