Where are they now?

Further proof Manziel is a world class A-hole.

Good luck to Catherine Hickman, formerly Catherine Raiche.

Bonne chance Catherine Hickman, quelle carrière depuis 10 ans: CFL-XFL-NFL.

I don’t visit 3down but just reading the title in the link. I’m not buying any of it.

Cody is delusional. “That’s been the most frustrating thing about the entire situation for me, personally. I felt like the last couple of years, I’ve been playing the best football of my career,” Fajardo said.

The 2023 Grey Cup game and maybe the first 5 games of 2024? Sure, Cody played some great football in those games. But the rest? If that’s the “best football” of his career, we’re well rid of him. He was an upper-tier game manager who got to the big game because of an elite defence and turned in a legit MVP performance in that game. In 2024, he started hot but then got injured, rushed himself back prematurely to the team’s detriment, and ended the year with a very poor performance in the EDF loss, a performance he has yet to acknowledge as such. I guess owning up to a bad performance would complicate the nice little narrative he’s built up about his time with the Alouettes, who, by the way, feature exactly nowhere in anything positive he has to say now. No mention of how we basically took him at his lowest value and provided the team that allowed him to capture his first Grey Cup. No mention of Maas believing in him and playing him or AC working with him day in and day out on improving. No mention of a single Als teammate, not even a receiver. The only person Cody is interested in praising is Cody.

I’m quite happy to move on from him now.

…and you got the only guy who has a bigger ego than Cody’s in exchange.
" Bethel-Thompson sat down for an exclusive interview with Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette and sounded off on his former team bowing to the public pressure by replacing him with Ford."

…so it had nothing to do with the fact the first game he started an won was in week 11?

Nonsense. First of all, we’re getting a backup in MBT, if he even signs here. Second, a QB isn’t the sole determinant in wins and losses. It takes a whole team. Maybe Edmonton fans feel good pretending MBT was the whole problem, but the guy has a Grey Cup ring as a starter (2022), and he wasn’t the guy who hired Chris Jones to run the whole show.

Both of their egos are bruised as former starters, now relegated to back ups. All QBs need to see themselves as starters. The interesting thing here is that both of those players said versions of the same thing to two different media. I’m not convinced either are ready to really embrace a back up role.

He won’t. Think about it. He’s 37. He will only play for starters money. He can’t keep his moth shut and has to be the centre of attention.
Then the important:
MBT 13 starts 3 wins
Ford 5 starts 4 wins.
…with the same team around them…

Should MBT sign with us I hope he shows similar support to Alexander.

Something really strange happened in Edmonton last year and one would need to take a deep dive in game notes to figure out why Betel could not win a game while Ford could when they both posted nearly identical stats. Which would logically mean Mcleod wasn’t has bad as his record and Trey was not as good as his record.

I think it can be explained, in part, by two factors: 1) MBT started the games in the early season under Jones and a lot of personnel changes; 2) Ford started his games after Jones left and the team was more experienced. I’d also say that from what I could see, the team rallied around Ford in a way they didn’t with MBT.

A classy interview including this:

I’m going to miss the guy.

Davis, you’re now on the clock!

Tend to agree with you here.
