Unless I’ve missed it, it’s been eerily quiet concerning when Bo Levi Mitchell can return.
Injury was July 28, 6 weeks ago to the day.
Any idea on return?

It’s not eerily quiet, it’s typically quiet.
One day you’ll turn on a game and SURPRISE!
Yeah it’s frustrating. I follow US College very closely. You hear when the 7th string DB breaks a nail. CFL - nothing.
I love Canadian football. Have seasons tickets for many years. But they need to step into 21st century. Media ignores them because of the ineptitude at the top.
We can’t even get “live” stats during a game. Commissioner worries more about promoting game in Mexico and Europe instead of promoting the stars we have in our own country.
You are likely right. Bo Levi will show up once we get to the game LOL
6 Game injured list does not necessarily mean “6 games”. There is no “8 game” injured list. His injury is typically 6-8 weeks to heal in most cases. He is apparently walking around and appeared on the daily injury report again this week. That usually means he will practice lightly next week and be taken off the injury list after our September 23rd game. My guess he will at least dress for the September 30th Calgary game at home, and if the stars all align, be starting that game against his old team.
That was the game I circled originally aswell. It would be his first home start (not including preseason).
Maybe they can start showing all the BLM promo clips they must have filmed in May and haven’t been able to show on the scoreboard yet!
It won’t be before Stein says Bo “won’t be ready” or “available” for the upcoming game.
who cares honestly, I cant see him being g any better than he’s was before his second stint on the 6 game
Got to agree. He’s been mediocre to poor for a few years now
Here’s the thing. If we have three healthy QBs, most fans would want the coach to ride the hot hand. And replace the starter if things aren’t working.
But modern football has somehow become a “ride or die” game where most coaches hate to replace their starter until the game is basically lost.
No idea if Milanovich subscribes to this view, or if it’s his call vs Steinauer’s.
I think there’s a difference between a QB that’s winning you games vs one that isn’t losing you games. Powell looked very good today and has continued to improve, but I still don’t believe it’s enough to consistently be as good as WPG or TOR on a regular basis.
Imo this team needs a healthy Bo to hit its peak potential. If Bo is 100% I think he gets a chance at some point.
Sure. Bo has a higher ceiling. He just hasn’t hit it so far this year.
If he gets back in the lineup and plays poorly … maybe he gets the benefit of the doubt for one game. But then what - two games, three?
There used to be a view that you put the backup in for a series or two to see if mixing things up makes a difference.
Let’s say for arguments sake we go into Toronto and win next week with Powell (stop laughing) and then Bo comes back against Cal and is terrible. Then looks terrible a second week, (and we lose both games) I guess you can make the argument that Powell gives us the best chance to win.
But I think it would have to be glaring that it’s QB play that’s the difference. Back to the great Masoli/Evans argument of 21, Masoli was never flat out terrible (until the 1st half of the EF) and we were still winning games… Evans just seemed to he a bit better.
However I do think Bo would have to come back and be horrible (like 5 INTs horrible) and we’d have to lose games like Calgary, Sask and BC where we feel we should win, for him to be benched.
You didn’t spend that amount of money and risked your own professionalism and credibility to have a healthy BLM in civies charting plays. When hes healthy they couldnt put him in fast enough.
We’ve already seen that type of terrible performance from him. How many more would we have to see before we give up. If he comes back and plays like he did a few years ago that’s great but I don’t hold out much hope as most of his int’s imo were judgement errors not physical.
There’s been a few tweaks to the Offence since BLM last played.
Let’s see what he can do with the improved O-Line and Milanovich’s playcalling before we write him off for good.
He’s basically played 2 games as a Ticat. If Condell is to blame as much as many would have you believe then he deserves a few shots with Milo.
"If"Condell was to blame? “Some of us”? Really?
It depends somewhat on when’s he’s health and situation.
Powell keeps improving, don’t want to disrupt that. We’re also in a battle for 2nd in the east and a home EF.
The sooner Bo is back, the more runway to try and get him worked back in. If it’s getting to late in the season and the standings are tight, I don’t think the risk can be adforded, would have to stay with Powell at that point.
If we can grab 2nd and put a little separation between us and Montreal, there’s more comfort starting Bo.
