When did Rod Black take over the Gladiator?

I've noticed quite a few times this season Rod Black has handed out the Gladiator award instead of Glen Suitor. What's that about? I thought it was Glen Suitor's thing? I don't recall Rod Black ever handing it out last season... :?

Suiter Prob has the next game

Obviously. But why wouldn't they give Chris Cuthbert and Glen Suitor the Gladiator game and Duane Forde and Rod Black the next game? I'm kind of curious why they keep giving Rod Black the Gladiator game considering it's Glen Suitor's thing.

What I meant was he is prob awarding one in the second game

Oh. OK. I haven't actually noticed if they've been doing on that. Guess I'll have to pay attention at the end of this game. Did they hand out two Gladiators last season?

Yeah I always thought it was just Suitor who did it but I think now they do it for both Friday games.

Yup, looks like they are giving out watches for both games. Suitor gave his to Fred Reid.

Black: "...at this time we'd like to present Fred Reid with this incredible time keeping device crafted not unlike those wisened clockmakers in Switzerland, where the mainstay economy is bolstered by chocolate and other assorted dairy products, for his epic-like dominance tonight in the role of Maximus Bomberus AKA the Gladiator which of course is derived from latin for "swordsman", from gladius, "sword", an armed combatant who entertained audiences in the Roman Republic and Roman Empire in violent confrontations with other gladiators, wild animals, and condemned criminals....and my tie here is not unlike something befitting a Caesar of ancient Rome wouldn't you think my friend Duane Forde?"

Forde: "............?.........."
