I clicked option one. However, I’m more like 70/30 in a split with option two. You can’t just like one team as a diehard without liking the game to some degree.
Looks like somebody voted option four. Oh boy ???

I only support the American teams.

So far it’s:
Option A: 19
Option B: 48
Option C: 3
Option D: 2
I’ll reiterate that I think Option A fans need to understand that it’s one League and that the other teams are actually partners of the one they avidly favour.
I’m a football fan. CFL and NFL
I appreciate the difference between the games and like them both for different reasons.
I want a healthy league and I want the Riders to win, but not at the expense of good, exciting football. I’d rather lose by 3 than win by 40. Blowouts are bad for the league.
The one exception that proves the rule… the BC Lions. I hope they lose every game by 100 points. I hate those b*****ds. (This comes from my experiences when I lived in BC)
But overall, I’d like nothing more than 7 teams tied for 2nd behind my Riders, and every game decided by a td or less
Who chooses option D but yet it’s still on this forum?
I’m a Ticat fan first, but other than when they play the Ticats, I wish all teams well.
Hopelessly devoted to Ottawa. Rick Cassata, The Gabe, J.C. Watts. Died a thousand times while the team floundered in the eighties and nineties. Loved coach Goldman, Reggie Barnes, Loyd Lewis. Southside Yahoo.
Fell in with Montreal at McGill after the Rough Riders folded. Saw the Argos there on Thanksgiving Day, 1998: it was so good to see the Canadian gridiron after two years away. Bought season tickets to the Alouettes for a few seasons, and eventually to every team, honest, by mail. Collected the team wallets, magnet calendars, bobble heads that came in the mail with the tickets.
Supported the Renegades but knew Brad Watters was in for the short haul. Began going to Toronto during the Damon Allen years, when the Argos were really good, and the games at Rogers Centre were amazing. Used to like to visit on weekends when the Ticats were also playing at home, making it a double header weekend with a trip to the CFLHOF in Hamilton.
Have attended every REDBLACKS game since 2014 at home, and several on the road. Still satisfy my fix with road trips to the Big Smoke and Steeltown, travelling by Via Rail.
Used to stop by the CFL head office in Toronto, also. Was invited in by Tom Higgins once, but during the Cohon years the office became more restrictive.
Love the CFL, can’t imagine life without it.
1st - I cheer for one team and watch all their games whether on TV or at the stadium.
2nd - when watching a game that doesn’t feature my team, I cheer against the team that is the most threatening to my teams place in the standings.
3rd - if i am watching two rivals play and they are tied in the standings (ex. EDM VS SSK), i cheer for the home team to lose.
4th - if it’s two non-division teams, I cheer for the underdog for the upset.
5th - In Grey Cup games with neutral teams I tend to cheer for the underdog or best team/fan story for that year.
Kudos to you! You’re a great example and a credit to us all.
I’m a Ticat fan first and foremost. Attend all of the home games, and road games are appointment viewing. This makes me a fan of the CFL, but I don’t go out of my way to watch other teams play. If I’m home and a game is on, great, I love me some football.
My hand is always on the remote when I’m watching non-Ticat games. With a triple header tomorrow I’m sure I’ll find myself in front of the TV at some point. I’ll flip back and forth between NCAA football, the Mac/Western OUA game, and the CFL. No particular favourite, just looking to be entertained.
aaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggooooooooosssssssss
Diehard fan of my team and the cfl. I live in Ottawa, but still have season tickets as an Als fan. Best league of any sport anywhere.
