What is your fav Labour Day memory?

Mine goes back 30 years ago and a game for the ages for Earl Winfield
101-yard punt return for a TD in the first quarter. A 58-yard catch and run for a score off a toss from QB Mike Kerrigan. Then a 100-yard kickoff return TD in the fourth quarter to seal a 56-28 win. For the game, Winfield amassed 400 total yards.

Marching late to tie and force OT. 3rd and short and they put the ball in the hands of…

Jeff Piercy.

Bob Krouse making an interception in the end zone, right in front of us, to preserve a win. One of those seasons when that LDC win was one of only a handful. No idea of the year, might even have been the ‘last century’.

yesterday, watching masolitake a team down 7 late in the third and surgically dissecting the argo defence leading to a 14 point win. Tasker, Banks, Green, Masoli all looked like men on a mission as well as the rest of the offence.
I remember the last days with Austin, the hanging heads, the pouting, the uninterested players and its night and day from that right now.
Instant classic.
