Last week Corey Holmes almost singlehandly destroyed Calgary on his own and then this week as a starting RB he sees no game action. What the heck are these Offensive Coaches thinking?
Maybe I missed him but I didn't see Cavil this game?
You have these guys with great talent but they don't get used. There was a lot of bright spots tonight but when you have big guns that are producing you need to use them
Seems that way. Too bad for Ranek that his numbers are nowhere near as good as Corey’s. Don’t get me wrong I love Ranek and all that but you have to to go with the guy who is getting it done. And right now that guy is No 3.
Holmes did see some action on both offense and special teams. He cause six passes for 49 yards, and somehow only got six rushiing yards in five carries. He also returned two punts and four kicks. He was busy, but one has to question how he was utilized.
And as for Cavil, we could try having him there, but will he make much difference? And whose place does he take? Just a few questions to consider, and here are tonight stats for the receivers:
REC YDS TD LG
C. HOLMES
6 49 0 17
K. PETERSON
5 88 0 41
C. YEAST

Those numbers for Corey doesn't constitute a busy night. He almost had no game action the second half. Maybe they felt that Montreal had No.3 in the sights and as a result got not a lot of yardage out of him but you still need him in there he is a big threat and opens things up even if he doesn't get the ball.

What was Pao Pao( Maas) thinking when he called that awful running play on 1st down w/ 2 minutes left in the game , esp w/ the running game going nowhere all night behind a line that can't open holes??? With Fleming as our kicker , we might as well have gambled on 3rd down... too bad, because , the Cats let this one get away.
