"We're going to kick..."

Who knows how much or how little players pay attention to such things but...

Years ago such a boast would have been a death wish in regards to HTC fan reaction and treatment from the crowd.

Yes, things arent like they used to be but to fans who are going , especially the ones behind MTL's bench, take special note of this and remember.

Thanks.

Noted.

I intend to be loud and annoying

Duron is at yet again after winning the Eastern Semi-Final against BC and sending a message to the Tiger-Cats and all us Cat Fans, "We're going to kick their ass," said receiver Duron Carter. "That's what we going to do."

Bring it on Duron, S.J. Green, Crompton and the media like Rod Black, Schultzy and Climie, we're hungry Tiger-Cats looking for some fresh meat to devour!!!

LETS EAT THE AL'S RAW TIGER-CATS, IT'S OUR HOUSE, OUR FANS WITH LOTS OF NOISE!!!!

Players know , and its dumb to provide extra motivation to a cat team that is highly motivated

On the Scratching Post Bear Woods says about the last Tiger-Cat victory over the Al's "That's regular season. They won that one. We're going to win this one," and agrees with Carter that the Al's will kick the Tiger-Cats Butts on Sunday.

Man bring on the hype, it's going to be a hell of a fight with words even before the game gets started, some bad blood on both teams but let the Al's talk, just get more fired up Tiger-Cats!!!

Let's Cream the Birds at Tim Horton's Field on Sunday!!!

From Carter
“We’re going to kick their (butt),” said receiver Duron Carter. “That’s what we going to do.”
and
“We feel like we let the last one get away,” Carter said. "We’ve been talking about it this week — we shouldn’t have been — but we’ve been looking forward to that game.

“It’s that little sour taste in your mouth. That’s what Hamilton is, a sour taste.”

From Bear Woods
“That’s regular season. They won that one. We’re going to win this one,” Woods said.

To my brothers we have to remain humble in our approach this week. “Success isn’t owned, it’s leased and rent is due everyday”. #GreyCup2014

A little rich coming from Grigsby but that's a great quote.

Some NFL news about Duron Carter who has some teams interested in him

Roughly a third of the league has interest in bringing Carter in for a visit and numerous scouts who have watched him closely have told me he could start for many NFL teams right now. The timing couldn't be better as we're about to enter an offseason in which the receiver free agent class is expected to be very thin once the franchise tag and fifth-year options are extended. Carter is being seen as a top priority by some clubs.

Carter, 23, had significant off-field issues in the past – as did his father, Cris, who eventually became one of the dominant receivers of his era after going from Philadelphia to Minnesota – and according to CFL sources has matured and grown up considerably during his two years there. He still needs to be tended to closely at times, sources said, and can be high-maintenance for coaches, but also has game-changing ability as his father did, and is very explosive with a massive frame, possessing the height (6-5) NFL teams covet and weighing 205 pounds.

It took a series of wasted opportunities for Carter to end up in Montreal. A prized prospect out of Ft. Lauderdale, rated as one of the top 10 receivers in the country, he attended Alabama and Florida Atlantic but never played there, though he did play briefly at Ohio State as well as a community college. He was ruled academically ineligible several times and was suspended for spring practice one year while at Alabama. His off-field issues resulted in him not being drafted in 2013, and after a few NFL tryouts he signed a two-year contract with Montreal, a perennial contender in the CFL that has developed many NFL players over the years (former Montreal coach Marc Trestman now coaches the Bears and former NFL standout Chad Johnson is one of Carter's teammates on the team).

Numerous NFL executives declined to discuss Carter on the record, given that teams are awaiting an upcoming personnel notice from the NFL to all clubs indicating when it is permissible to formally pursue certain categories of CFL free agents. However, many of them acknowledge the substantial potential Carter has should he focus on football and dedicate himself to maximizing his talent.

“I hope Duron is ready to finally put on his big-boy pants and fully use what the good Lord intended,? one general manager said.

Sources close to the player said he understands that, despite being so young, he can't afford to waste any further opportunities and is prepared to come to the NFL humble and eager to get better. His past transgressions have led several teams not to consider him at all, but it's expected he will have at least five formal requests for free agent visits as soon as the NFL gives the OK via its memo.

You know, the great teams don’t need to spout this rhetoric. They let their performance on the field do the talking.

This verbiage is such nonsense. Whenever I hear this crap, I wonder if they’re running their mouths to convince the other team or themselves!!

Guys like Carter who find it necessary to shoot off their mouths before a big game generally shoot themselves in the foot.

This kind of behavior will not help in to get him into the NFL. Instead, it incites the other team. I hope the Ticats take to heart the idiocy spewing from this guys mouth and kick his ass. :x

The only exception to this rule, and there are always exceptions, was “Willy” Joe Namath who guaranteed a win over the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl 3 (?). Luckily such exceptions are few and far between. We shall see what we see on Sunday. Tiger Nation BRING THE NOISE.

The 13th man will be absolutely critical at this game just as he was in game 18.

:rockin: :rockin: :rockin: :cowboy:

So, you’re going to be yourself…

Talk is cheap, trash talk is even cheaper, no one ever won a game by talking about it.

You know what folks: talk is cheap.

A truly pathetic (immature) attempt to sow fear amongst their opponents.

I hope they "reap what they sow" in a truly biblical fashion on Sunday. Yes, with American Thanksgiving coming up I have to say I like my "bird" well done. Stick a fork in them boys. :stuck_out_tongue:

The Ticat players are responding as true adults would. I think Bear "poops in the" Woods and "baby" Duron Carter will be schooled on Sunday on what it means to be a man.

Hey Yogi !! Keep yapping cause that's where it's gonna end up...Shoved right in yer mouth :stuck_out_tongue: :cowboy: :rockin:

I'm hoping our ticats will make him eat his words twice in a row. haha, the unstoppable Alouettes, the cockiest team to sport a 9-9 record. Will be great to send them packing.
