Weekly Predictor: Taking BC in Touchdown Pacific?

OK Tire Labour Day Weekend is here with an added twist; Touchdown Pacific!

Yes, the CFL kicks off my favourite weekend of the year with a regular season game in Victoria, B.C. for the Lions to engage their fanbase on the island with a rematch of last week’s game in Ottawa.

Fully agree.

BC/Ott - have reservations about this but that’s a long haul West & BC has to turn it around don’t they?

SK/Wpg - Harris has 10 TD’s vs 5 INT’s in an abbreviated time & a QBR second only to Fajardo. That’s more TD’s than the Bomber tandem. So I expect an improved passing game. Wpg can run but the Riders, despite the Elk game, still are 2nd in rushing yds allowed/game. With Micah & Lanier both back, they’ve been really good. Riders should win this one @ home.

Tor/Ham - Kelly’s back. 'Nuff said.

Edm/Cal - Stamps have had their # for years. But nobody allows more rush yds/game. The Elks have 3 guys averaging over 6 yds/game & Brown looks healthy. They are easily the top RZ offence, good on 74% of their trips into the RZ. The McMahon jinx looks to stop here.
