Week 7 practice @ BC

Drew Edwards ? @scratchingpost
#Ticats offensive & defensive lines have long, physical 1-on-1 session. Leads to unpleasantries between C Tim O’Neill and DL Kiante Tripp.

Not a surprise, but @DanLeFevour13 getting first team reps at QB for #Ticats. Means he’s the likely starter vs. #BCLions on Friday.

Drew Edwards ? @scratchingpost
Emmanuel Davis is practicing today.

Drew Edwards ? @scratchingpost
#Ticats S @CButler28 is practicing today, as is @speedybanks87. However, @qmcduffie14, he of the spectacular punt return last week, is not.

From Drew Edwards

• safety Craig Butler is back practicing today though I think it's premature to say he'll be ready for Friday's game vs. B.C. Receiver and return man Brandon Banks is also back. Offensive tackles Joel Figueroa and Marc Dile are doing limited work but that's an improvement over last week.

• on the down side, return man Quincy McDuffie is not practicing today.

• this isn't a surprise but Dan LeFevour is taking first team reps at quarterback, meaning he's the likely starter on Friday.

• reports out of B.C. indicate that quarterback Travis Lulay may be ready to start this week instead of former Ticat Kevin Glenn.

An update from Ticats practice

The third and final day of Ticats practice before Friday's game in B.C. Here's what's happening, along with some news...

• safety Craig Butler is practicing with the first team defence today. He's participated in individual drills all week and did some team work yesterday but this is the first time he's been full go.

• on the down side, back up Neil King was nicked in practice yesterday and isn't participating today. If Butler can't go, or re-injures himself in B.C., the Cats will either turn to former Maurader Mike Daly or bring in an American and make a ratio adjustment elsewhere (staying with two Canadian defensive tackles or two Canadian wide receivers, or inserting Fredo Plesius at linebacker are all possibilites.)

• receiver and return man Brandon Banks looks good to go as well

Thanks for the read Grover.

Not happy reading Lulay is back, he couldn't wait one more week:(
