Week 6 - Riders @ BC

Practice on Monday:

MIA: Schultz, Fantuz, Baggs (was stretching, but didn't see him after)
Geno was wearing a brace on his right leg. I think the big man is feeling the pain, but plays through it.
I think Tad Kornegay was practising with the DBs. Thought he was being used as a linebacker this year.
Workload: about 60% Durant; 25% Jyles; 15% Bell. To my untrained eye, Jyles (?) was taking a longish time to read the D. Lance Frazier picked him off once.
Dressler dropped a few, but Durant may have overthrown him.
Bagg came back to the ball and had several good catches in scrimmage play.
Punt return: both 8 ( Morris ) and 81 ( Quinn ) missed the catch and did some pushups to atone. They were better after that.
Lucas and Wagner were also not there. Lucas, vet day off while Wagner is still with his wife.
We have a new, big WR that goes by the name of Dave McKoy. That's right, for the first time in a real long time, Dave had a jersey on and was practicing with the 2nd team.
We have a new DB on the team unless it's somebody that has changed numbers. Number 26. Anybody know his name. He got worked by Dressler on a few plays. Welcome to the show kid.
D line was Sykes, Sholo, Adams and Mullinder. Stadnyk I believe will become a rotation guy come Friday. Still early though. Baggs got a vet day as mentioned.
Eric Morris was back and running fairly well. He stopped about 3/4's of the way through practice and iced his knee

Research has turned #26 as LaDarius Key

He might work out, but he got a rude introduction to the pros from Dressler.

As long as the guys think team first, and stick to their assignments, they will do fine vs. the Lions.
