The weather may play an important factor tonight for the Tiger Cat game. The Cats need to dig deep and find a way effectively run the ball. This will bring additional pressure on our O lIne who looked like crap last week. Our D Line had better step up as well considering Calgary will likely have the same philoshy. Run well and it sets up the pass and kills the clock.

I haven’t done the breakdown, but I would surmise that when DeAndra’ Cobb rushes about 15 times in a game, we are undefeated. To soften up the Stampeder pass rush, the Cat o-line has to set a physical tone. The best way to get an opposing defence to bite on a play fake is to establish the run. The way the Gibson offense is schemed, the intermediate passing attack requires that the opposing LBs to bite to open it up. We shall see whether Gibson will be able to establish more balance in his playcall. If Reynolds outrushes Cobb tonight, it may be a key indicator of a long night ahead.

Cobb has only two games with 15 or more carries… 17 carries against B.C. at home and 17 carries against Calgary at home. Both wins!!! So it’s very simple…give Cobb the ball more than 15 times and we win the ball game
