You can tell it’s a boring Friday at work when i’m taking the time to add to this bile.
Who cares? The 18000-21000 fans and myself that attended every game last season to watch a very very poorly run team. Mardi-gras promotions, nearly no advertising of the team locally. Paopao purchasing equipment from his own pocket because the owners were too cheap. The Renegades were a joke because of ownership and NOT BECAUSE OF THE FANS.
I am so sick and tired of ignorant people continuing to slam the fans in Ottawa.
Fans never were nor ever will be the problem with CFL football here in Ottawa. I have lived here now for 3 and a half years and supported the Renegades during that time. Ottawa ownership was completely unstable from day 1 and grew worse with each passing season.
People here will support a team and all we have ever asked for is stable ownership from a group committed to running the team properly. Bring in an owner with the same quality as has been shown in Hamilton and Toronto and a franchise will flourish here in the Nations capital.
I grew up near Hamilton and supported the Cats as much as I could up until I moved to Ottawa. Ottawa had more fans supporting the team last year then the Hamilton did in its darkest season before Bob Young rode in to the rescue.

Don't let it bug you OCF, I completely agree with you that Ottawa really did support the team well with the goof owners there and the team that the CFL stuck on you.
If the new team is run even just a bit more professionally than what the Gliberfarts did and the draft run more professionally than what the CFL admin did to you, then we are looking at a real success story about to unfold in Ottawa I think!! I love the stadium there and the fans I met during games I went there in the past were 2nd to none.
Please ban this fool before monday. There is no justice in this world: why is it that a perfectly good thread like say 'bring Batman to Hamilton' gets tossed out of here, yet this goof is allowed to stay and spew constant nonsence on us every day? Why aren't his threads thrown into the abyss also?
