I have lots of nfl shirts from cases of beer and I see othere people waring them all the time even a friend of mine has a Dallas one and he doesnt follow football. We need shirts in cases of beer so there out there.
I think that'd be pretty cool. Stash them in some Blue or Molson.
E-mail the beer companies.
How does it work for politicians?
1 Letter = 100 People thinking the same?
I think I will. I can buy Blue and Moosehead down here in my area. I'd LOVE a CFL t-shirt, especially since the last time I ordered one from the CFL store it never made it here.
Im not so sure that the CFL PR and marketing people have that much foresight to do a thing like that, it seems that they have no idea how to proprely promote this game-- the t-shirt idea is a good one and makes sense, which is why it won't happen.
The T-shirt idea needs to be pushed from the beer companies. Not from the CFL. We should also ask Gibson liquor to create shot glasses of the each team, then we can out and but a bottle to have for each away game (well almost a bottle a game).
Absolutely right. The CFL needs to market itself better. I don't know why companies don't realise that the CFL is more popular in this country than the NFL or baseball, so it makes sense that you would want CFL in your promotions! DUH!!
Hockey is the king, that's what will work the best I think, unfortunately actually.
Hockey is marketed a lot in Canada. The NFL is used a lot too which I don't get. The CFL is more popular in this country than NFL and so you'd think you'd get more bang for your buck advertising with CFL.
The CFL probably wouldn't charge as much as the NFL or NHL would for licensing either, so even more reason to advertise with Canadian Football.
I want to see Milt Stegall on a Pepsi Can!!
Great idea Mike. I like it!
You could use your team's shot glass to play drinking games while watching the CFL on CBC!
And after 15-16 shots, I’ll bet you all could handle the English language better than Walby!
Most (if not all) teams already have shot glasses sold in their stores. Maybe the teams have exclusive rights to products with their logos? Or does the CFL control that?
In the fine province of Manitoba, the Labatt company gave away a Bomber 75th year T-shirt, if you bought Blue or light Blue beer. That was last year and it seems like allot of people own one of these t-Shirts...great marketing by Labatt and the Bombers...
There's actually been a lot of promotions in Saskatchewan with Pilsner beer, unfortunately the problem is not with the marketing, it's that the beer stinks.
the labatt brewery normally does something in the means of bomber shirts. my one buddy gets 1 every year
we need some free stuff out there even if a homeless guy is wearing one it still is advertising the league
I just saw a beer commercial with touques of NHL teams in cases of beer, we need CFL touques in cases of beer.
Or we could have mini Grey Cups, with a CFL team logo on it....These tiny Cups could be proportional to the amount of Grey Cups that were handed out, in the last 75 years. The leagues Strongholds would have plenty of mini cups placed in cases of Beer...To get a Rider cup, it would be like winning the Lotto 649...Go Bombers..
The beer does not stink. The beer is good.
But yeah, I have received many a Roughrider T-shirt from the Pilsner Case.
They don't necessarily look spectacular, kind of low budget, but is still a free t-shirt.
