I hear TSN+ lets you do that but I don’t have first hand experience with it.
it’s blocked unless you have a vpn
They post games a few hours after it’s over. The games are posted up there for about a week.
Gonna be watching the preseason tilt between the Bombers and Elks this afternoon.
Using my phone as a hotspot (no internet/wifi at the cabin) to my laptop with HDMI to my TV. Checked it out this morning streaming uTube and its working great.
I’ve done that before.
Game takes about 1.5gb in data.
Should be good then, I don’t often use much data and I’ve got unlimited (until they throttle me).
I don’t know how they are going to manage two games at the same time today at 4PM est. I will have two laptops running a game on each
As a Bomber fan I should have no problem with deciding which game to stream.
Not being a fan of pre season I should have no problem in deciding which games not to stream.
It sounds like a lot of work to set up your streaming so that you can watch. Do you receive decent picture and audio quality when you do this?
hope you have a good roaming data plan.
lol preseason football play quality generally sucks but it’s my preseason to get back into my fan groove and make sure my viewing system, eats, and beer consumption are up to snuff. i’m not in game shape yet
sorry Allen Iverson, but drunk posting in game chat needs practice.
Not roaming, using my provider’s network.
Not a lot of work at all, hooked it up in less than 5 minutes this morning.
Picture seemed terrific for the few minutes I tessted it. Ii will see when it becomes important later.
Not a huge fan of pre-season either but there are a few players I’m interested in seeing. Agudosi being one of them.
Have to say, rather sucks if there is no SVOD option (free or paid!). Been a SVOD “user” of the CFL for years… I mean as soon as it was offered, signed up and paid in full (every year). Living in Europe with assorted work and personal obligations, catching live games at 2am in the morning just aint happening. I enjoy watching games on a Saturday or Sunday (occasional Friday) morning with a cup of coffee (& maybe a shot of rakija- my homemade plum brandy;). The “free” live broadcast of games seems to make sense, I think, but very timezone biased. Not very pro fan (International), if you ask me. & I do understand SVOD rights come at a cost… I work in media and even tried to get deals in play for the CFL where I’m based… It’d be nice, if the CFL is listening/reading this, considered offering the same SVOD service as in the past with Yaretv or any other service (I can help point the way;). I mean, as far as I can tell, you are the only “major” sports league that does not offer SVOD… Kinda backwards if you ask me… & here’s an idea, offer a 12 hr window of games on your website geospecific… Just saying…
I wasn’t reading the thread and posted my frustrations about the live v timezone as well… But will add here; while yes, we can VPN and sign up for TSN, its us, the fans, that need to “perform” this option. An option, international SVOD, the league has offered for years. I’m sure us internationals number in the dozens to a couple hundred. However, a good option to have to help promotion the league. There are a number of gridiron football leagues around the world. Good to allow them, even if just the players, access to the league… just saying
hi @BelgradeBomber welcome to CFL forums thank you for posting
i agree there should be better VOD options and i’m hoping there are in the future since this is still evolving for the CFL.
Okay is anyone else only getting the audio and no video for the Cats/Argos game ?
Never mind .
go cats!
