TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) is furthering its commitment to fans by providing free access to more games than ever before. A verified email address will be all that is required to unlock the league’s first-ever live streaming platforms: CFL Preseason Live and CFL+.
is the TSN feed going to be streamed free or do i have to buy the TSN+ thingy? i have like 5 fricken TSN channels on my cable so i’m not buying more of their crap.
This is really for the fans in the US and overseas.
It’s only good to Canadians that want to see all the pre-season games
“Games will not be available to stream for our Canadian audience through CFL+ as all matchups will be broadcast in Canada by TSN, as well as a portion by RDS.”
If you do have a TSN+ subscription or TSN through your cable provider, you can watch games on demand after the fact on TSN.ca. Hopefully it’s something they will add to CFL+ at a later date. Either way this is a great start.
I’m in Ohio and I like Canadian football better than American football. Sad to see the CFL marching boldly back to the days before VCRs for most games, and putting the others on an obscure channel that isn’t on a lot of people’s radar.
There will be even less now. I proselytize to my friends, try to explain what they’re missing. Now explaining how they can watch is a 20-minute conversation. I tried to find a ranking for CBSSN among U.S. sports cable networks and couldn’t find a list that went down that far.
