He’s give too much of a cushion around the furniture. IN a small room, he wouldn’t even be able to enter.
Last week they fired the Special Teams Coordinator and made 9 roster changes, many of which were performance based. Let’s not condemn them for lack of action just yet. I’m hoping for more of what we saw last week over this bye.
Well if your hoping of more of what we saw last week includes losing then I don’t think that you’ll have anything to worry about sad as that is to say .
I’m pretty sure that not even this sorry lot can lose over the bye week
Never say never…especially with this massively screwed up misfit of an organization . Actually though I was talking about the game against the Anchors coming out of the bye week . They will probably make some more lineup changes but the end result will be more of the same as usual , chalking up another “L” on the season.
Just wanted to point out that they actually made 11 roster changes for last weeks game.
And it helped squat.
Every year the "professional players cant seem to do their job, and the coaches cant coach them up to do their job. It’s a broken record. Then said players and coaches go on an win a grey cup elsewhere
I have a feeling the Cats will be throwing a lot of spaghetti at the wall until Labour Day.
Yep, and when they get shit kicked by Toronto, Milanovich will say it’s all on him.
Ha, ha! If they throw fusilli instead, it will ”spring” back and hit them in their face!
Hopefully some of that spaghetti is Ed Hervey. Why the Cats hired him after his fiasco in BC is unexplainable. At least he had 2 co-GMs until this season: now he is operating without scrutiny.
Players 100% shouldnt be rusty after a break when they can still train and work out plus watch film .
Return game was better
Very true they need to use the jug machine after bye week ends badly
So just curious here but would you rather have this defensive lineup or the current one we are stuck with now ?
The hypothetical former Cats defense that we have let go in the past few seasons that are currently employed elsewhere in the league …
DE…Lorenzo Mauldin (Malik Carney)
DT…Dylan Wynn
DT…Michah Johnson
DE…Julian Howsare (Anthony Federico)
LB…Jovon Santos-Knox (Fraser Sopik)
LB…Jameer Thurman (Bailey Feltmate)
LB…Tyrice Beverette
CB…Ciante Evans
CB…Rodney Randle
DB…Mark Milton
DB…Dave Vereen
S…Tunde Adeleke (Mike Thompson)
How many of these players decided to leave rather than ‘being let go’? I’ve mentioned this before, it takes 2 to sign a contract, and just because someone left, isn’t necessarily bad talent evaluation. That player may have wanted to go elsewhere.
I’ll play - with that linebacking group (no SAM), that secondary, and worst of all the same DC, I still don’t believe we would stop anyone.
Beverette would be the SAM , Santo-Knox would be WILL as I’m pretty sure he has played there in the past and Thurman of course would be in the middle . As for the secondary how about we say keep Jamal Peters and swap out either Vereen or Milton ?
Either way it would still be a better looking Defense than we have right now…at least on paper that is .
Carney, Johnson, Howsare werent impact players.
