Was that the end of this era's run at the Cup?

Hank wouldn’t have even tried to run after the ball had the snap been any higher… remember his last game as a Cat in Regina where he just stood there with a stupid stunned look on his face as the bad snap went past him and he essentially just handed them the Grey Cup by standing motionless while the Roughriders recovered the ball deep in our end. Some leader… just quit on his team… good riddance Hank!

Agreed never liked cryin hankie. So happy we have Zach instead of him!

The Cats will be back next year and I think will be the team to beat in the East. This team had a terrible time with injuries right from the start of camp. They can keep Burris he didn't look so great when the Cats played Sask. in the Grey Cup and I bet he will be terrible again. Ottawa had a good year but they benefited greatly from the injuries we had. all thing equal I believe we win with ease. Great effort by the players that did play.

We have a ton of off season work to do this great TiCats team has 34 Free Agents IsItJuneYet

So you give no credit whatsover to a swarming and great defense yesterday? forget the Ticat defense they had nothing to do with it it was all about Hank having a bad day. Wow
Don’t you think Hank had a bad day because the defense played a great game?

slim, have you seen Tabbie's posts he gives the defence credit. he is the last poster you should be jumping on.

and bad hank did rear its ugly head yesterday.

A defence isn’t responsible for overthrown or underthrown balls or dropped passes. There were a lot times Hamilton was getting credit for a 2 and out, and I’m sitting there thinking “…but he threw both passes into the ground…”

Not so sure. There was plenty of times where Burris rushed his throw because of pressure. That clearly is the defense.

I see a different game. Ottawa chose not to run the ball against the Ticat defense. While Edmonton is a different animal. They have a better pass defense but Ottawa might decide to run more.

Bad Hank doesn't make an appearance unless forced to. Our defense did not force him with constant pressure, hence we saw Good Hank. Did you notice the intensity of the Ottawa D, hard hitting, gang tackling, always trying to strip the ball. That was missing from our D.

I was surprised at that; did the Cats’ D miss one guy (Norwood) that much?

Mind you. . . Ottawa’s offensive line (Rogers in particular) is pretty darn good.

A great one…two punch at QB next year.

From my perspective, it looked like the D-line was doing a LOT to contain Burris, hence the lack of a pass rush from the Defensive Ends. As another poster mentioned, Ottawa did not run the ball that much, so our LBs were most often in coverage.
