Too bad. According to Mark Masters of the National Post, it’s sold out.http://twitter.com/#!/markhmasters/stat ... 2161382400
Glad it sold out but nowhere near as impressive as Edmonton's sellout last year. I think it was 65,000 tickets in 3 days or something like that.
But Edmonton did leave 1000s of seats on reserve and open them up in the Fall for sale.
Not as impressive as Edmonton's, but it killed BC's previous sellout time record.http://www.cfl.ca/article/99th-grey-cup ... ecord-time
Yeah, but with capacity at 52,511, it's about 6600 less than in 2005 (59,157). I'm actually surprised it's that low, I thought capacity was going to be around 54,500. Oh well, with a packed house it should still be a good atmosphere. I'm definitely looking forward to it.
And for the record, Edmonton sold out in a week:http://www.cfl.ca/article/grey-cup-2010 ... s-sold-out
I plan on winning the Rona pool…
