Wade Phillips toast

...CBS Sports reporting him fired as of today...never took much of liking to him, didn't carry that air of superiority that I feel a HC needs....can Dallas stay ahead of Buffalo now?...

I'm not a fan of Wade Phillips or Tony Romo. I used to like Romo when he first became the starter, but over the last couple years I've realized he'll never been an elite QB. That's not to say he doesn't have talent... he'll just never be in the same category as Peyton, Brady, etc...

Apparently Childress is on thin ice, too. Personally, I think Childress and Favre should both get the boot.

ESPN is also reporting that he's gone. He'll be replaced by Jason Garrett, the OC.

Wow. If you check out the graphic in this article, no coach since Landry has lasted more than 5 years... :expressionless:

after that fiasco in buffalo, I cant beleive that he ever found work again in any football league. The guy should take up tiddly winks and jacks.

IMHO he got the Dallas job because of playing Johnson over Flutie, Can’t be promoting CFL stars ya know :cowboy:
(Jones to Philips, - You just play who I tell ya to play and well get along just fine) LMAO

Was Jason Garret a bad backup QB for the Raiders?

You knew that was coming. And Johnson over Flutie, well, we know how that one turned out.

This firing was much overdue.
