Virtual Grey Cup Challenge, Week 19

The final week of the Regular Season. Man, this goes fast. Only eight of us can go on to the post-season, so if you're on the bubble, it may be time to take some chances.

The standings are posted here. If the old standings show up, click your browser's REFRESH button, and you should see the current ones.

Here are the games for Week 19:
Hamilton @ Toronto
Saskatchewan @ Edmonton
Winnipeg @ Calgary
Montreal @ B.C.

To join in, just start making picks. You can join in at any time, though the later in the season you join, the harder it will be to catch up.

To make your picks, reply to this post with your predicted winners. This is a straight-up win/loss pool; point spreads are not taken into account.

To be considered for any game, your pick for that game must be made PRIOR to the scheduled kickoff time. Even if your pick is made one minute late, or the kickoff is delayed, if it's after the scheduled kickoff time, it's late. No exceptions.

To change your picks, post another reply to the thread. Do NOT edit your original post. I may miss the change, or you may invalidate your picks.

While you're free to elaborate on your picks, your predicted winner must be clear at a glance. I don't want to have to read through a five-hundred word essay to figure out which team you're picking. More accurately, I won't.

Conditional picks are not allowed. That is, there is no "Calgary if Burris plays, Edmonton if he doesn't." If you make a conditional pick, I will accept the first team named as your pick.

The complete rules are posted here.

Tough week last week, but it was tough for almost everybody, so I'm still in the hunt. As I said in the intro, it's time to take some chances.

Hamilton @ Toronto: I'm not risking my season on the Argos. Cats by a dozen.
Saskatchewan @ Edmonton: Edmonton is the better team. They won't come out flat like the Ticats did. Esks by 11.
Winnipeg @ Calgary: This is one of my chances. The Stamps are the obvious favourite, at home against a team struggling with injuries. Bombers by 6.
Montreal @ B.C.: Montreal struggles against the Lions, especially in these night games. Gotta take a chance. Als by 5.

I may make some changes if I have to in order to stay in the race, but right now I'm going with these.

My picks for week 19:

Toronto
Saskatchewan
Winnipeg
Montreal

Hamilton @ Toronto- Hamilton will show up this week, win by 14.
Saskatchewan @ Edmonton- Sask got the win last week, don`t think the team will do it again, but it will be close, EE by 4.
Winnipeg @ Calgary- I think Tate and Cornish are for real, Stamps by 7.
Montreal @ B.C.- Als just play poorly against them for some reason, BC by 6.

Thanks!

GAAAAAAAHG!

After a great start to the season, my picks have gone into the outhouse this past few weeks! 0-3 this week, and if the Als can't pull it out, 0-4!

Ah well...last week

Hamilton @ Toronto Hamilton, but only because its the Argos. Porter is going to have to step up or he will be backing up Burris in Hamilton next year.

Saskatchewan @ Edmonton Edmonton 1st place on the line, and they are the better team, as well.

Winnipeg @ Calgary Calgary by a nose. Or by a Wpg penalty for a cheap head-shot.

Montreal @ B.C .Montreal is going to finish on a strong note, I think.

Toronto
Edmonton
Winnipeg
Montreal

Toronto is an underrated club. I like their chances in a meaningless game against an overrated Hamilton team. Saskatchewan hasn't won a game against a western opponent all year. I don't think Edmonton is bad enough to ruin the Riders' perfect record. For Winnipeg/Calgary I flipped a coin. Came up Bombers. Game of the Week is Als/Lions. Grey Cup preview IMO, and the Als should take it.

Last picks of the season. As usual picks of who I like rather than who I think will win (if I did that all season, I might have stayed in the hunt for a playoff sport...)

Edmonton

Calgary

Montreal

My picks for week 19 are:

Winnipeg will finish 1st in the East and in the West it will be BC
