For those new to the forum, here's a rundown of the rules:
To join in, just start making picks.
Reply to this thread with your picks for the games. You're encouraged to elaborate, but only the predicted winners are taken into account, and your picks must be clear at a glance without having to read a big long post. There are no conditional picks allowed.
Picks must be in by the scheduled kickoff time, or they will not be counted.
To change your picks, post a new message to the thread. Do not edit your original post.
The complete rules are posted here.
Here are the games for Week 14:
Montreal @ Hamilton
Edmonton @ Calgary
Toronto @ Winnipeg
B.C. @ Saskatchewan
Here are my picks for Week 14, for what they're worth.
Montreal @ Hamilton: In the last 7 Ticat games, the only one they won was the only one I picked them to lose. Superstition or no, I'm not tempting fate. Als by 6.
Edmonton @ Calgary: Calgary is the better team. Stamps by 8.
Toronto @ Winnipeg: It pains me to say this, but Toronto is better than Winnipeg. If Ray is unable to play, I may be changing this pick, but for now, Argos by 2.
B.C. @ Saskatchewan: Hard to pick against B.C. when they're hot. Lions by 11.
Another tough week to pick.... I'll either be a hero or zero for these picks!
MONTREAL Over Hamilton. Something is just not right in Tiger Town. If the Bombers can score against the Hamilton defense, what can Cavillo do? MONTREAL by 10
EDMONTON Over Calgary. Edmonton is due for a win. How badly injured is Kevin Glenn? Eskies only lost both previous games by a small margin. EDMONTON By 2
TORONTO Over Winnipeg. Bombers have their token first win for the Coach. Complacency sets back in TORONTO by 8
SASKATCHEWAN Over BC. BC is due for a loss. Where better a place to lose than Taylor field. 80 km winds should benefit the Riders. SASKATCHEWAN by 2
