Here are the games for Week 12:
Winnipeg @ Toronto
Montreal @ Calgary
Hamilton @ Edmonton
Saskatchewan @ B.C.
Everyone is welcome to participate. To join in, just start making picks. Pick the teams you think will win each game as a response to this thread. While discussion is encouraged, please make your picks clear at a glance. Picks must be in before the scheduled kickoff time in order to be considered for any game. You can see a complete list of the rules here.
Winnipeg @ Toronto = Winnipeg
Montreal @ Calgary = Montreal
Hamilton @ Edmonton = Edmonton
Saskatchewan @ B.C. = Buck Pierce should never have been a backup QB while healthy, Jackson doesn't belong on the field with numbers like his. Oh right, Lions win this one.
WINNIPEG Over Toronto. Okay, I shouldn't be drinking so much, but its time for an upset, and this one could be it. WINNIPEG By 2
CALGARY Over Montreal. Time zones and the fact that Calgary's last Home game was a poor performance should be a factor to get the Stamps fired up at Home. CALGARY by 4
EDMONTON Over Hamilton, Hamilton Fires Taffe and replaces him with Marcel B, Thats a misprint right? Nobody could really make that move....Could they? Ricky Ray will have a field day. Over by halftime. EDMONTON by 18
BC Over Saskatchewan. Cam Wake has got the BC Defense inspired. Buck Pierce looks like he has rhythmn. BC By 3
Just an observation, but no one is picking Sask to win this game except for Rider Fans (excluding turkey  ) I hope for my sake that you all are wrong and we are right.
I can't believe I changed my pick for the Calgary/Edmonton game. If I'd left it alone, I'd have gone 4-0. Maybe someone else will learn from my mistake, even if I don't.
Anyway, on to this week.
Winnipeg @ Toronto: I wish it were possible for both these teams to lose, but... Toronto is better than Winnipeg, but Winnipeg is improving. They may be about equal now, but since the game is in Toronto, I'm saying Argos by 3.
Montreal @ Calgary: I just looked it up, and just as I suspected, I am 0-10 in Calgary games! Montreal is 1-3 against the Western Division. Their 5-game win streak ends here. Stamps by a touchdown.
Hamilton @ Edmonton: Mid-season coaching changes are rarely beneficial, and though a team often wins their first game after such a change is made, Hamilton is in disarray right now, and can't compete with a team as good as Edmonton. Esks by dozens.
Saskatchewan @ B.C.: The Riders still haven't recovered from their injuries, and are on a two-game losing streak against teams not based in Winnipeg. Until their players start to return, they aren't as good as B.C. Lions by 2.
