Vanier Cup win definitely put Marauders ‘on the map’

Bordering on off-topic, but does tie in a bit to the TiCats. Sort of. It’s a good story, anyway.

The three kids — all who looked to be about 10 or 11 — approached the head table with pens and program in hand, obviously looking for an autograph.

They didn’t make a beeline for Toronto Blue Jays great Roberto Alomar at the B’nai Brith Sports Celebrity Dinner on Monday night, though. Nor did they head toward hockey hall of famers Dale Hawerchuk or Billy Smith, two-time world junior team goalie Mark Visentin, Stanley Cup winner Ric Nattress, UFC star Mark Hominick or Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ defensive end Stevie Baggs.
