USA Broadcasts on CBS

Its great CBSSN is getting the TSN feed for selected games. The issue I have is when the CFL was on ESPN +, I would stream every game I wanted to see that wasn’t on regular TV. With CFL+ for Innternational, although free, I can only watch on my laptop or mobile device. I did try using the Web on the Smart TV but was not that great. Any suggestions before the season begins. From Vancouver living in California for past 20 years. Go Lions Go.

Why not just connect your laptop to your TV via hdmi? Probably using any laptop or desktop computer made within the last decade should work.

I use an HDMI connection between my TV and desktop and it works quite well. It took a little finagling and finding the original remote that came with the TV, but it wasn’t all that hard, as long as you have a TV new enough to have one or more HDMI sockets. i’m 73 years old and hate Windows 10 and I got it done.

Won’t hold it against you being a Bomber fan as there is one here in Sacramento in my office. I know I can do that with a HDMI Cable, but with ESPN + , it was a APP on the Firestick and not required.

I lucked out in one way. When I gtried to connect to the very first preseason game I couldn’nt find the place to enter my ID info. I got connected anyway without providing my info. I think it was because I had sent an Email to the Bombers some months ago and the website apparently recognized me from that and connected me. How/why I have no idea.

I surrender!

I have finally come to the conclusion that I have no affordable way to access CBS Sports Network. I have spent uncounted hours going from one website to another seeking CONCRETE information on how I can access CBSSN with some assurance that if I jump through all the hoops required and pay all the fees asked, I have no confidence that I will have access to what I seek. When a game involving WPG is not on CFL+ I’ll just log on to CJOB and listen. In other words, I’ll be spending some of my CFL time back in the 70’s.

I am well aware that of all the money I have spent on cable TV, ESPN+ and such the amount that goes to the CFL and WPG is microscopic, but I was contributing SOMETHING to the league. That is no longer the case, and it disappoints me as much as missing +/-thirty games.

Notice it says "This game is only available to INTERNATIONAL audiences on CFL+. For this subject the USA is NOT considered international.

Yeah. I wouldn’t mind if the league could stream them for an affordable price, but a) It would probably cost the league a bit. b) It would probably not grow viewership the way cable does. If I hadn’t stumbled onto the CFL game on cable, I might never have gotten interested. Would all streaming hook the next version of me if he or she never even sees it?

i actually prefer the streaming format to TSN broadcasts so i wish they’d stream them up here. considering a VPN for the late season games.

Was so much better for steaming on ESPN+ because you could watch later if you missed it . Also I would prefer regular commercials vs that god awful
Music they play on commercial break. In the plus glad I can sit outside with my laptop and watch the streaming games in sunny California.

As a former musician I do not consider that music, and it is truly mind-numbing. I suggested elsewhere that the league should look into getting a bunch tourism spots from as many provinces and cities as possible to run free. Anything but that canned dritt they’re using now.

For Bombers games I cannot stream I’ll either listen on satellite radio or tune into CJOB online. We’ll be 70s throwbacks together tonight.

Back to the future?

Great Scott!
