Well folks here are the definitive rankings after a very entertaining weekend. :cowboy:
Saskatchewan Roughriders- Throttled the bombers again. With Fantuz back, Durrant improving , Cates in full swing and a defence that swarms the Riders are going to only get better :rockin:
Great coaching too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Calgary Stamps- Continue to improve. Copeland looks like he found religion again and Henry has been steady.
Montreal Als- typical fast start to season has levelled off. The Als split with the lowly Lions show they are vulnerable in a big way.
Edmonton Esks- With Ricky Ray they are always a threat. Really a bunch of no names who are over achieving for a very good coach.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats- Mediocrity is starting to rise to the surface. Improvement over past few years but a ways to go.
B.C. Lions- really a mediocre team offensively. Flashes of brilliance but unsteady quarterbacking will come back to haunt them.
Toronto Argonauts- Unlikely win will bolster some much needed confidence. Next week will tell whether it was a one week illusion.
Winnipeg Boo - bombers- As sad a situation as I can remember in the CFL. Simply awful team going nowhere fast. Sad to watch even for bomber haters in a rivalry situation. :thdn:
Ottawa franchise- Give them a week to draft players and they would likely beat the bombers!!! :rockin:
These power rankings dont all make sense the best team in the CFL is ranked 3rd, while the Riders beat the second worst team in the league twice in a row is ranked first? Switch the homerism with common sense and move Montreal with the Riders places and its way more realistic
1# Montreal
2# Calgary
3# Saskatchewan
4# Edmonton
5# Hamilton
6# British Columbia
7# Toronto
8# Winnipeg
I may not put the Riders on top, but they are IMO at least #2. I would put Them ahead ahead of Calgary since they are tied in the standings and Sask also has a lead on them in the season series.
