Two players fined following Week 10 games

TORONTO — The Canadian Football League has announced that two players have been fined following Week 10’s games.

On the season:

7 Saskatchewan
5 Ottawa
5 Edmonton
3 Winnipeg
3 Hamilton
2 Montreal
1 Calgary

Still no in season playing foul fines for BC or Toronto.

Looks like the Saskatchewan Rider players are getting paid too much. A bunch (7) of them are contributing to the League head office coffers in the form of fines.

They started out with regular contributions but Mace seems to be getting a handle on discipline.
We will see how well he’s doing with the LDC and the Banjo Bowl.

That’s just their way of contributing a little more to the equalization payments to other teams. They love it so much where they are they want to help keep the league afloat. :grinning:

Yup, truly a highly emotional series. I’ll estimate 5 plus fines over the LDC & BB games.

I would guess there will be fines in all the LDC games and their return games…especially in the where playoff spots will be on the line.
