Two guys, one number

I just checked the Alouettes' rosters to see what number Thyron Anderson would be wearing tonight, given that Tim Gilligan has taken over #87 since his departure...

It says: Thyron Anderson - # 87...

And then, a fews lines down, it still says : Tim Gilligan - # 87...

Lol. That would be confusing if both of them were on the field at the same time. Won't happen as Gilligan is injured. But can the same number belong to two guys at once?

I think #87 will go to "Skipper" Anderson, and Gilligan will be banished to the get a new number.

Too much late night re-runs on the dish.

No, one of them will have to give up his number. My guess is it will be Anderson wearing a different jersey in tonight's game, since I don't believe he has any particular attachment to that number. With Gilligan injured, there will be no #87 in the game.

We'll have to wait to see if I'm right.

Okay, now I'm curious. Were you right Big Dave? What number was Anderson wearing? It has no bearing on my life whatsoever, except that my curiosity is piqued.

He was wearing #87 !
